Made both sticks & both touchpads mouse
The only thing worth noting is that the graphics options can't be changed.
It works
It works, although there is a problem with how it handles Vulkan on a certain stage, so I have to use OpenGL 4.5 for that.
Worked until it didn't
The game actually did work, but the experience was awful. Before, I'd easily get 120 FPS on highest settings, whereas this time, I got below 30 FPS regularly. I played the game with the Vulkan backend, which used to work better than before, though now there seems to be a regression because there are other people who tried using Vulkan recently and had problems, whereas before, it was smooth sailing.
When I exit the game, the game crashed my computer and refused to open up every other time I tried to. I tried running the recommended proton & experimental, as well as tinkering with some launch options, to no avail. No matter what I do, I can't get the game to launch.
There were minor lag spikes here and there but nothing major
-skipmovies
I've played the game with no mods, as well as with Reloaded & the Unmaking.
It's been working near flawlessly
The only issue that I had is that it crashed once. That crash never happened again.
It's still going good for me
There was some input lag at certain times, but not bad enough to detract from the game overall
Newest version of proton borks game
The game used to be perfect. Now it just shows color bars whenever I open it and I can't do anything about it. Same thing with The Ultimate Doom
Made it so that sticks & trackpads operate mouse, changed the buttons so that they're all clicks
Limited framerate, turned on half rate shading
The game crashes my computer
I can launch the configuration menu, but when I try to launch the game, it just shows a white screen, and then my computer crashes, forcing me to do a restart.

Crashes too many times to have a good time
Keyboard and mouse is laggy. Controller is fine
Crashes are too frequent. Use Dolphin Emu instead
Input is laggy for keyboard and mouse. Controller is fine
Crashes too much to finish a level
My previous report was too barebones so I'll provide an updated report. This game is playable until it isn't. This game crashed on me in the middle of a level. It appears as though this is a problem for other players. I also had problems with the game using default controls rather than the configuration that I set.
The game also has other problems that are not limited to Linux, specifically UI size. When it was being ported from Wii to Windows, the DPI was not adjusted to match, which means that text boxes, menu screens, and other elements are small.
I recommend Linux play this game using Dolphin Emulator instead as it appears to work much better over there
Set the one of the buttons as a turbo button. Seriously. It will be a lifesaver when painting landmarks
Half rate shading
The text and icons are smaller than in the wii version, and some of the text is incorrect (eg, "Paint Landmarks" when z-jumping)
Experience is random
My experience is random. The game installed & I could get in, but I couldn't get into a level without the game crashing on me. Every time I load the game, it crashes at a different point.
I was able to play, but I ran into some significant problems
The two main problems are crackly audio and only being able to use the keyboard and mouse. Being a platformer, a keyboard and mouse does not perform well and a controller is preferred. I only have the switch pro controller to test on. Using the pro controller will either: 1. Crash the game or 2. Have a constant pop up of "Switch Pro Controller ready to use" and constantly smash the A button depending on the settings you choose. Also, crackly audio.
It's servicable
Certain audio cues are playing when they aren't supposed to be
It's servicable, though I think that there are a few issues that may make playing through an emulator more preferable. It has to do with audio. At certain points it's crackly, and when you rinse off ink, the audio cues for being inked still play, even though you are no longer inked.
There was some minor distortion with how the window displays it. There's a bit of letterboxing, and it looks squished.
Fixed looping audio with this as recommended by PC gaming wiki: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Qj-QBBroHgvVu4pCK7O7DS7mp4EQPVPs/view
