I was surprised to see this game come up as unsupported on Steam as all the other Bejeweled games work well. I can confirm though that upon launching the game it runs perfectly fine on ultra settings too!
PROTON_LOG=1 %command%
Missing effects in MO3 music - reverb etc

I highly doubt it actually needs it but I turned on "Allow Tearing", "Half Rate Shading" and limited TDP to 4W. I don't recall it having high battery impact before I made this change but I figured it wouldn't hurt to make sure of it. Game remains at full 60fps throughout with the widescreen+3daccel patch installed.
Just to reaffirm: any issues with running and playing this game are fixed entirely by using the Widescreen patched EXE found on PCGamingWiki as well as using superbyron's community layout.

Runs well OOTB
Runs perfectly out of the box without any tinkering steps
Works better than of Windows.
on Windows currently you wiill need to use the popcap-patches from GitHub. But for Linux it works out of the box and you can even set the graphics settings and resolution to Ultra.

Follow this guide to enable 3D Accelaration and higher resolution. Works on Steam Deck and Linux in general.
Changed sensitivity and some other buttons layout. User preferences.
The Steam guide embedded contains a community fix to make the game runs on newer hardware and Steam Deck in particular. While the guide is strictly Windows, I have performed the same steps on my Steam Deck and it works wonderfully. If you are a fan of classic PopCap games, this is a must on Steam Deck.
No version of Proton is used.
Made both sticks & both touchpads mouse
The only thing worth noting is that the graphics options can't be changed.
3D acceleration and the resolution settings can't be changed unless Proton 5.13-6 is selected. Game runs perfectly well otherwise.
hj
When you tick 3D ACCELERATION which needs to be on to change the resolution the game just restarts with it still unticked
Game plays fine in 800x600 but it would be nice to increase the resolution
Runs great out of the box
No need for -changedir, INI tweaking, or EXE swapping like the Windows version - this will run perfectly from the get-go, including 3D Acceleration if your system can handle it.
I also ran this on an Acer Aspire 3 running Ubuntu 21.04 and had good results, but no 3D accel (which is expected without a GPU).
Works for me
Works perfectly out of the box. Never had issues.
Runs great out of the box. No issues.
Downloaded, Installed & Played. Works just like it would on Windows.
used -changedir launch parameter to start the game
Need a -changedir
parameter to play. Go to game properties, set launch options, input the -changedir
parameter, and enjoy it.
Everything seems to be working as far as I can tell. I didn't notice any problems.

Must add -changedir to the launcher options. This isn't a Proton problem as the switch is needed in Win10 too. The game runs as good or better than Windows.

Use "-changedir" in launch options to run the game

Add to launcher -changedir

This game requires the command line argument -changedir to be specified in the launch options. This also happens on Windows, hence why my result is Platinum as this is not a Proton issue. Runs in software mode only due to NVIDIA ION GPU being incompatible with Vulkan enabled NVIDIA drivers. May work with hardware acceleration on other systems with supported video cards. Using Alt+Tab causes Unity 7 to black screen. Using the Super key causes the game to freeze. Otherwise the game is perfectly playable using all modes in full screen and window mode on a 2010 Intel Atom CPU. Given the above, there are no graphical or audio issues.

Crashes saying: Invalid command line parameter: -changedir
