Works perfectly out of the box.
When changeing resolution to one that is not the native to my laptop's panel it doesn't scale instead it just streches the edges of the screen.

The game does normally work flawlessly & natively on Linux! Unfortunately it is currently broken as of the Anniversary Update.
From what I've heard the issue is caused by the latest version of glibc (2.41+) and has already been fixed in vanilla Portal 2.
I found a temporary fix to use before the mod developers release an update that does it proper.
- Install " execstack " from the AUR.
- " cd ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Portal\ Revolution/bin/linux64/ "
- " execstack -c libtier0.so "
- Launch the game as normal and it should now work properly.
Crashes right after clicking "PLAY" button. Probably broken due to recent Glibc update. Works via Proton though.

Mod runs great with native build & controller like the base game
Runs great natively with any controller! Was sometimes laggy, as this mod uses the more advanced Strata engine and modern graphics. Nothing major; may be my hardware.

The native version performs smoother but crashes sometimes. Proton version doesn't crash, but has some mild choppiness and controller issues
Non-native version has some crackling and stuttering.
Sometimes my controller would not be detected unless I unplugged and replugged it. (Both native and non-native)
In the non-native version, the right stick will not function properly unless you set it to simulate a mouse. But doing so will cause the crosshair colors to constantly switch.
MSAA makes the framerate drop a lot in certain areas. The non-native version has some random frame stuttering and audio skipping.
The native version will freeze sometimes. It's usually when encountering gels, but happens at other times too. Lowering the Shader Detail and Effects Detail seems to make the crashes less frequent, but they still happen.
The native version asks for permission to upload crash dumps every time you launch the game. It doesn't seem to remember your choice.

Native works OK, but crashes
Crashes on some levels including gels and also crashes after approx. 1 hr gameplay
A full playthrough is possible but frustrating due to freezes and crashes

Work almost perfect but more stable and better performance with medium grafic mode, not default

Funciona perfectamente sin tocar nada, en mi experiencia
se colgo en una partida guardada pero usando la partida de auto-guardado funcionó sin problemas

net_graph text is too small (it's generaly source issue, not really that big problem)
Sometimes saves is just not loadable. I don't have any idea why
Crashes every 3-5 hours..
Try playing with proton experimental or GE and with vulkan. I think native version will have these stability issues for you.

Works
gamemoderun %command%

Had a few crashes towards the end of chapter 3. Enabling VSync seems to have fixed the problem.
Apart from the mentioned crashes, a solid experience.

gamemoderun %command% -vulkan
If You change an option from Widowed Fullscreen to Fullscreen, You have to restart the game in order to apply.
Just Install and play, works perfectly ootb.

Levels with Gel will crash all the time and gets impossible if you don't deactivate shading.
Forgetting the crash problem due to freezing, it's perfect! In addition the autonomy is more than sufficient for the game on a single recharge!

Occasional crashes but haven't tested on windows to see if that's unique to linux.
A few crashes in ~5 hours
One save file did not let me load it, but all the others worked perfectly.

Easily fixable crashing issue in a few sections.
Issue with freezing in a few places where goo was airborne. Fixed by dropping video quality settings to low for those portions.
The game froze 2 times trough the playtrough.
Works great out of the box
Works beautifully because it's available on native.

runs great but has very bad screen tearing and nothing can be done about as far as i could do.
heavy screen tearing on both wayland and x11
the screen would constantly tear even when i set vsync to triple buffer and set the frame cap to match my refresh rate there is still screen tearing. and this is on both X11 and Wayland and i even have a freesync compatible monitor.

Played with mouse+keyboard
Requires rather new version of glibc (2.33), otherwise it won't start.
Mouse input wouldn't work so I had to disable raw input via the developer console. This can be done by enabling Developer Mode ingame, pressing the grave key ( ` ), and typing:
m_rawinput 0
4K max details | 200-400 FPS

Levels with Gel crash all the time if you don't turn down shading
Runs great

Pretty solid except for occasional freezes on levels with lots of gel. Level 7 is one of the bad ones.
On levels with a lot of gel movement, it would hard freeze after about 10 minutes. I also experienced two hard freezes when doing a floor / ceiling portal to build momentum.

Enjoyable when it doesn't lock up every few minutes
On some maps the game frequently locks up and needs to be stopped via process manager
The developers are hard at work, I expect everything to be fixed sooner rather than later

Yay, no more crashing! Good old reliable 8-6.

-vulkan
Crashes were caused by gel when playing on Native. Fixed by switching to Proton.
