Native - a lot of graphical artifacts = unplayable. Proton - high input lag and crash every 30 minutes = unplayable.

Broken firing-effect textures in Native version, green dot artifact in Chapter 11 and probably way more as other users report.
Proton version has way more input lag, mouse feels floaty. Native version has perfect input latency and it feels great.
Native version has more unstable frametime and more lag spikes.
Proton version crashes every 30 minutes.
If it weren't for graphical artifacts and unstable frametimes, native version would be playable. (I also tested public-beta and there was the same behavior.) If it weren't for high input latency and frequent crashes every 30 minutes, the Proton version would also be playable.

Had to manually change resolution to 3440x1440 in game config file, ingame it only allows to choose 2560x1440.
Sometimes weird random short texture flickering occur, but it was the same on Windows.

On Windows, it was stuttering during some gameplay moments. On Linux - it runs perfectly with buttery-smooth frametime.
Because of frequent shader compilation stuttering I consider this semi-playable, but not perfectly enjoyable.

Sometimes EA App can't detect savefile.
Heavy shader compilation stuttering in prologue, and also in the rest of the game when you enter new locations or play new missions.

Sometimes there are stutters while traveling around a planet, and it stuttered the first time I entered a space station. Traversal stutters also occur when exploring a newly discovered planet. Also slight stuttering while using scanner. They’re not really heavy stutters that make the game unplayable, and they usually become less noticeable the longer you play. Could be shader caching, could be the game engine - hard to say.
