Random fatal error. Absolutely no way to just launch the game.

I cant start game first time, this is fix if you delete Steam Cloud saves and start new game, after all working
If you ready start from new game this is awesome playable on Steam Deck

Installs from library fine. Opened and pressed play. Just a black screen. I’ve tried different versions of proton, proton ge and still the exact same :(

- If an external controller is attached the game gets confused and no controller works at all.
- Also you have to use Keyboard+ Mouse layout or touch screen to select the default input method.
- If you wish to play with an external gamepad, launch the game without it connected. The in the main menu connected your external controller. Quit the game, keep the external controller connected, start the game and all will be fine onwards.
External controllers are kinda weird to setup but works all fine with just the Decks internal controller with no issues
mangohud %command%
Download a sample saved game (it's about 5%) and replace the one in your game's directory. I followed the guide from the Steam Website: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2540330583
Because you have to use the sample saved game, your previous progress may be lost.
Without tinkering with the game it wouldn't run at all.
A light game with easy-to-read interface made for small screens. Perfect for Deck!
The first time you launch the game, use your mouse or touchscreen to select the controller configuration
If you have the black screen issue, it's because of a corrupted save file
The game started with a black screen, apparently it's a save issue, nothing to do with the operating system. To fix the issue I had to follow this guide. After that the game is running out of the box.
no idea what has changed but I did a fresh install of it today and all of a sudden it's working perfectly.
Blank screen
Does not load, only get blank screen and have to force quit to return to steam.
Would only boot to black screen. Had to use the save game fix linked below
gamemoderun PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Also, if you want to play windowed, just press Alt + Enter. If you can't play out of the box, try using PROTON_USE_WINED3D11 in the launch options.
The game works perfectly out of the box with an exception (contrary to my previous report).
This game is VERY prone to save data corruption. If the game launches to a black screen, it's almost certainly not your operating system. If you're having this black screen issue, check out this fix here.

Unable to launch into the main menu.
The game simply launches to a blank screen, nothing else happens. Used every version of Proton/GE there is with no success. The only launch code I attempted to use was PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%.
Like native, perfect
Work out of the box
Installed and running without any problem.
Installed the game and went through the tutorial. No issues that I was able to notice:
- Graphics: 1920x1080 - MSAA 8x, no glitches
- Sound: No glitches that I was able to notice.
- Control: Played with a keyboard and a mouse, it worked perfectly.

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% Use this
No real big changes

use this code PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% in launch options
no real customizations
Installs and works perfectly without any problems with graphics, audio, keyboard, mouse, or gamepad.
tried the use d3d thing and different proton versions. Best case it crashed on startup.

No issues encountered when doing a test run through the tutorial mission.

No issues

Game crashes before launch with wined3d. With wined3d the game loads, gets to the main menu, but I can no longer interact with anything due a error dialog appearing in the background. Have to SUPER+D to hide the window. Error dialog says : "Unable to resize swapchainbuffers.. DXError: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL." Also, after this error, if I try to relaunch the game, the steam says running, but nothing happens and I have to force close the game.

Played Mission 3-5, not a single problem!

Works really well. No issues noticed so far.
