Good to play OOB
Slightly degraded performance compared to Windows
On first time boot, it wouldn't matchmake at all. After that, it works perfectly fine every time.
Nearly perfect experience, happy to play this when I am in a rare multiplayer mood

Mouse would sometimes go outside of fullscreen and not be locked in making you tab out and lose a match sometimes
Memory leak
Menus flickering or stuck in certain menus

A stutter fest, works fine but will get anoying after playing for a while, tested all proton versions, gamemode and gamescope, non fixed it
Constant stutters
I tested several proton versions, tried to run the game with many launch options, using gamemode and gamescope.
Non will make the game stutter free.
It's playable and works OK, but you'll keep getting stutters and missing some shots because of this

At first, fps drops and screen tearing, I think.
At first it worked perfectly without any tweaks. My messing with the system caused the game to stop booting at all. Reinstalling Steam and enabling Proton-GE made it launch again. In-game works perfectly, especially with GE

Runs perfectly OOTB
Runs just like on Windows. No issues playing multiplayer

Joining a friend via Steam would cause the mouse to become detatched from the game until hitting escape twice, however that cancelled the joining. Once the match is started the problem is fixed on it's own though.
The section of the hub that's full of fanart ran quite slowly, but I didn't experience any problems during a match

If gpu screen recorder is running in the background in replay mode, trying to run this game crashes cinnamon
Runs perfectly out of the box
game launches to the menu but doesn't go above ~10fps during actual gameplay. tried all previous suggestions & nothing helped unfortunately.

gamemoderun
seulement besoin de gamemode, et encore, pas réellement néccésaire, dans mon cas sa as completement effacer les léger freeze aléatoire qui survenait rarement

It's work like if it run on Windows, I like it

gamemoderun WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR_MODE=ultra DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
Only Proton GE worked for me. The settings which worked best for me were the ones IceBreak posted below, those are the settings I have listed. Still experience some minor stuttering/lagging issues, despite mangohud stating I have 140 FPS. Without using these settings game would lag really bad.
When I launch the game it instantly crashes, I've tried multiple versions of proton, but it doesn't work.

gamemoderun WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 mangohud %command%
I had use FSR to get the game to run well enough to be playable. If you have a better GPU then me this game should run perfectly out of the box.

Works perfectly out of the box
Kubuntu 23.10, no tinkering needed

Game freezes whole system sometime during the intro while everything loads.
gamemoderun WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR_MODE=ultra DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
Tried Proton experimental and GE with and without launch options reccomended by some, same results every time.

gamemoderun WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR_MODE=ultra DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%
Huge performance drop, the cause could be VRAM usage
I tried Proton experimental and it worked perfect out of the box, sadly for my VRAM problem i had to use GE Proton so i could upscale the game to make it run smooth, but so far i have not found any problem related to bug and gameplay, it works perfect!
Very laggy when out of focus, might be due to my hardware

Apparently with the updates they fixes whatever was breaking the game on linux, now it works flawlessly.

Game works well
There were some small lag issues, but it seems that is not a linux issue as my friends also had the same problems.
gamemoderun %command%
After a couple patches haven't had any crashes or major issues in multiplayer.
the game seems to crash frequently on the theatre map
you won't run into any (linux specific) issues running friends vs friends with proton ge so long as you avoid the theatre map, i averaged about 120 fps max settings 1440p on my laptop
gamemoderun %command%
Crashes during online play every 1-2 hours; definitely not ideal for this type of game.
Was never able to finish a 2v2 with my friend due to crashing at least once per match
Couldn't finish 2v2 match due to crashes. 1v1 private match worked fine the 6 games I played
Audio seems to be totally reversed, or at least it all sounds like it's happening far away from it should be. Gunfire fired from in front sounds like it's coming from behind.
It's amazing that you can get used to audio problems like this, but it definitely impacts the enjoyment. If there's a command to fix this, I'd give the game a platinum for the time being. Otherwise I'd consider it maybe a silver or gold.

loading screen and intro audio does not work
runs perfectly besides some minor audio bugs
Stutters
On multiplayer games 1v1, it says problem with the server and it crashes.
Crashes on multiplayer matches, present but not frequent
Runs well! Not much else to say.
a very minor issue, but the intro video often is a bit buggy when starting out, but smooths out after a bit.
Unfortunately after playing it some more, my game has crashed a couple of times online, so not ideal to say the least
Unfortunately, lower performance than expected. However, definitely playable at max settings (30-40fp), even more so at medium(40-60)
Press play and enjoy
Only tried 1vs1 but everything worked without any issues. I don't think there's an anti-cheat yet so we'll see in the future if they add one.
The game was lagging on the first start (could not get over 30fps on low settings). Maybe due to shader compiling, or because I tried the game on the release day so bugs are expected. Retried a few minutes later and was able to get between 60 and 80fps on high settings, which is expected I guess for my hardware.
Tried with normal and experimental proton first, the game always crashed mid match. With Proton Glorious Eggroll however it works perfectly, without a single issue.
Trouble Reaching 165 fps on Low settings which is strange for my rig
Consistent crashes after winning a round in a 1v1 match
Crashes take place often after a single round

without using ProtonGE (in my case 7-49) scroll wheel wont work, seems to be fixed when using ProtonGE
Tried playing with a friend that uses windows and it worked like a charm
Game works fine on Proton but better with ProtonGE

The problems are few but they are severe, I'm fairly sure they can be ironed out by tweaks
By far the biggest problem in an FPS. The gameplay pace varies a lot so low framerates aren't always a huge problem but the delay is.
Stable but cinematic framerate of 20-25FPS on lowest setings with antialiasing, no more chops than the game has on Windows. As a side note the game was still pretty readable.
Every problem with multiplayer right now can only be atributed to it currently being just a demo, there is no difference between runing it on Proton or Windows as far as networking goes.
If they don't break compatibility with anti-cheat in full release things seem to be loking good.
