you won't run into any (linux specific) issues running friends vs friends with proton ge so long as you avoid the theatre map, i averaged about 120 fps max settings 1440p on my laptop

game runs flawlessly until it doesn't. After some time the game will freeze and I have to kill the application, opening any application after this freezes the entire os forcing me to reboot. This used to happen once every 8 hours of gameplay or so but it has gotten worse and worse and I can't even play for 10 minutes anymore.
