works ootb

Works well, with only a minor bug.
The game does fail to close occasionally, but Steam can still shut it down, and it had no impact yet.

The game runs well solo, and it is fun.
Playing multiplayer with friends through proton, we get big lag spikes (300-400 ms of ping) even though the game is setup to run non-matchmaking games via p2p. Doing the same on windows 10 we consistently get very good ping (less than 10 ms, looks p2p). There might be something preventing p2p connectivity with proton, and we fallback to relay servers or something.
Plays well, but ping issues with multiplayer.

Works fine for the most part but has crash issues, particularly when closing the game. Gamescope can help.
gamescope -w 2560 -h 1440 -f --force-grab-cursor -- %command%
If the crashes bother you, gamescope at least keeps it from affecting your DE.

dlc are good

Works out of the box

Just simple pick up and play, no particular notes.
Occasionally returning to fullscreen after escaping seems to not work and requires doing it twice, though maybe I'm just impatient
Have not yet tried playing online.

locked to 40hz
text can be small and low quality
Runs well on steam deck
Works fine out of the box

Game ran perfectly fine. Download and play, didn't have to do anything else.
Great game and really appreciate how well the developers have made it run on linux.

Game works same as it does in windows. I have played a few multiplayer games with no noticeable issues.

In Spiritual assault you need to disable other's projectiles
Run out of the box

gamescope -w 2560 -h 1440 -r 144 -f -e --force-grab-cursor -- %command%
mouse not captured by window, force grab cursor necesarry. plasma 6 issue. if you arent on plasma 6 this shouldnt be a problem.
If you are on plasma 6 youll need gamescope to get this game to capture the mouse. otherwise works fine.
Played daily challenge run. No crash, no bug, no what the hell moments. Works like a Linux native.

capped at 45fps
The game run without problem I capped it at 45fps for more battery life and also lowered all graphic settings

Works great!
Runs out of the box just great!

Disable Steam overlay
Input lag is present unless you disable Steam overlay. Otherwise, perfection.

No issues, can't compare to windows. I've set frame limit to 144 (120 Hz display) and am pinned to it.
Fun game, but the game is still a work in progress although the page doesn't mention early-access
Unlike on Win10, it stutter when you run for 1st time due to shader caching, even obvious when you set Shadow Quality setting to High

No tinkering and no problem.
I felt that performance was maybe slightly worse than on Windows but no problem on multiplayer Reincarnation 9 from start to finish.

Runs perfectly for me with no tinkering.
No issues

run smoothly from the start

Multiplayer works great, played with friends that use windows and didn't had any issues
It works essentially perfectly out of the box with whatever Steam recommends you use for it. Myself I use proton-ge, but thats a preference.

Without the launch option, the game starts but frezzes (except the mouse), with the launch option, game runs flawlessly.

Works flawlessly, even with low-end hardware as long as your hardware has Vulkan support.
Works flawlessly, nothing to be done here. As long as you don't use bizarre Steam setup it will work right out of the box!
Multiplayer worked the same as in windows, no noticable difference

It played without any issues, we played through reincarnation five difficulty for literal hours and won. I got max frames, max settings.
Didn't have any issues, played through an entire run and beat the game without a problem.

Custom script is basically just gamescope -- %command%
will probably work fine regardless

gamemoderun %command%
Multiplayer works flawlessly. Game runs as well as Windows. No tinkering needed, just install and play.

Looking directly into a portal like the ones for "The Vault" seem to reduce FPS quite a bit when up close. Otherwise performance was fine.
