Download speed will reduce to 0 kb/s in the client launcher if the launch options are not entered.
On the verge of giving up, I stumbled this problem. The problem is the game is not downloading on the GW2 launcher, which seems to be a very common issue on Windows. This one however, on the Linux side, it seems to be a rare occurrence. I relaunched the game using -log in the steam launch options. This will run a debugger log which will run in the background.
I got this log here:

(0x7E)Then I came across this website, which helped me big time. https://forums.lutris.net/t/runner-missing-2-dlls-msmpeg2vdec-dll-msvproc-dll/16113. Without this command, I wouldn't have been able to download and run the game the whole time. Very stable game and love it.
Cursor would sometimes be out of bounds if user owns multiple monitors
Game gets choppy when there is too much activity happening. (kernel anti-cheat?)
Game loads up perfectly. No issues whatsoever, no tweaks necessary
I beat the game a few times and got all achievements without any problems. Works perfect on Linux.

If Mangohud overlay is running, game will freeze at the loading screen after the main menu before eventually crashing.
If you use mangohud in this game and you're experiencing freezing on the loadup past the menu, remove the mangohud commandline. Other that, everything runs solid
-language japanese -vulkan +cc_lang japanese
Crashes on menu when using certain Proton versions. This one that I'm using doesn't crash.
on both Native version and certain Proton versions, the japanese subtitles/closed captions would show corrupted fonts. This Proton version that I'm using isn't doing that and is showing the subtitles correctly.
I was testing this game out in japanese subtitles. I also streamed one night for a few of my japanese audiences. They seemed to be not only well interested in this game, but they never heard of this before.
Cursor escapes to another monitor when using multi-monitor setup.
Ran great on Proton Experimental. No issues whatsoever.

Crashed on sign-in to Xbox Live. Resolved after signing in.
Because of the wine anticheat software implemented this game, it's a mixed bag. Depending on how it behaves along with the seasonal updates can vary. On Season 13, I had a lot of issues with crashing when joining my friend's session. One time I did succesfully join and got to play 30 minutes before it crashed after. Then couldn't after. It's hard to say what causes these crashes. However, I do recall using various launch options and older hardware such as the Ryzen 5 3700x and GTX 1080. Haven't touched the game since until upgrading to the current specs along with reinstalling the latest update. Seems to be working fine now.
Don't even bother trying to run it.
The devs intentionally make the game incompatible with proton even though it's a F2P gacha game.
Finally playable.
Cursor escapes from the game's UI when using a multi-monitor setup.
Slight stuttering in performance when the textures in another world loads up. Performance improves overtime.
After the game's server rework and updates, this game is finally playable.
Don't bothering wasting your time installing this gacha game.
The devs have made up their minds kepping this this trash anticheat (ACE) while still releasing this on steam. It still doesn't work on Linux. So don't bother wasting your time on installing it because you'll never get it to launch.
The full version works without problems. However, if you're looking If you're looking to run the demo version without spending $6, read the instructions below.
This requires a bit of knowledge on how to get it to work. Refer to the discussion on what the developer has said about running the game. https://steamcommunity.com/app/2414750/discussions/0/4418676069792704303/ In order to run the demo, you must first
