Heavy artifacts, borked audio if you are trying to communicate outside the game, and you can't play any video while the game is open.
The game completely kidnaps your microphone, if you are on CS you can't use your mic anywhere else, be it Discord (App and Browser) or any other service like steam voice chat. It somehow also prohibits you from playing any videos on your browser while playing the game, it does not matter which website it is.
Every type of particle in the game has artifacts, be it molotovs, grenades, smokes, shots and so on.
The game has some lag spikes.
Despite the heavy artifacts it is playable.
Despite all this, the game is playable if you are solo, or if you and your friends don't have any problem with using the in-game voice chat.

The game runs well out of the box, no degradation when compared to Windows.
Those severe stutters do not happen all the time.
The game has some serious slow down, sometimes I would get 5 fps.
The game has a few artifacts when looking at water.
The game works just fine out of the box.
Runs great out of the box, no problems.
I know that a lot of people have problems with HL, but I did not have any problems with the game's stability, I had a good experience out of the box.

The game would not launch at first. But after forcing the game to run with Proton Experimental the game run just fine.
The game runs normal, just had to use GE to be able to watch the videos.

The game probably has a memory leak, when playing the game sometimes it uses too much ram to the point that there is no ram left for the kernel, and because of that Systemd goes on a killing spree killing all processes running, forcing you to reboot your system. I have 16GB of ram, the recommended amount to play the game. If you are having problems with EAC, just go to your library and search for “Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime” and install it, the game will work afterward.

The game has some lag spikes, it just can not decide if you have 20 or 80 ping.
The game has a memory leak that causes your system to crash when loading cities or using the teleport, if you don't have at least 32GB of ram. To avoid crashing your system if you don't have 32GB of ram you must have a Swap, I would recommend having at least a 16GB swap, several times I saw the newworld.exe using 25GB of ram, it would use all my 16GB hardware ram + over 11GB of my Swap, with only New World and Steam running on my system.

The game stutters like hell, some times you the game freezes for over 10 seconds.
The game has become unplayable with those last updates, before I could run the game at 60 FPS without stutters on high settings with FSR disabled, now I get less than 60 FPS and with the game sometimes freezing for over 10 seconds and several moments that I get no more than 5 FPS with the graphics on low with FSR on performance.
If you want to try your luck don't forget to add "PROTON_SET_GAME_DRIVE=1" to your arguments, otherwise the mod browser won't work.
The game crashes when trying to save in the native version, had to force the use o Proton to be able to play.
Can't connect to most servers due to Easy Anti Cheat.
You can play multiplayer, but only on a server called MEGA SERVER because this server does not use EAC, but this server runs with lots of modifications, I only recommend it if you have played RS2 before on Windows and wants to play it without minding the modifications that the server makes. This server is full 24/7, so you don't have to fear the server being empty.
Now you can finally play on some EAC servers, but not all. Some servers that allow Linux players. EU: Welcome to the rice fields / US: Powerbits (They have 3 servers) / There might be more other than those 4 servers.

Trying to Alt-Tab would crash the game.
Some cinematic won't play on standard Proton, you must play using Proton-GE, but after changing Proton version you can play without a problem in the world, as long that you don't try to Alt-Tab.
Game runs fine on Linux.
