Works on Linux after latest update.
stuttering as shaders generate
Thanks, EA

Works like a dream with NVidia driver version 520 and Proton Experimental. This is due to DXVK's and NVidia's new "graphics pipeline library". Some reported longer load times, but I didn't.
env __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=mesa MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=zink GALLIUM_DRIVER=zink gamescope -W 3840 -H 2160 -w 3840 -h 2160 -f -- ./bms.sh -nojoy -novid -newgameui -window -noborder -w 3840 -h 2160
smoke has strange pixelation
An NVIDIA driver update caused issues for lots of source engine based games. These can be fixed with -vulkan. However, Black Mesa doesn't support vulkan so if you want to play natively you can instead use zink and gamescope. I haven't had any stability issues so far. Playing campaign multiplayer with SourceCoop hosted on the same machine.
Great game. If you want to play with your Windows friends, just start queuing at the same time as them to the same game mode.
bash -c 'exec "${@/Chivalry2Launcher.exe/TBL\/Binaries\/Win64\/Chivalry2\-Win64\-Shipping.exe}"' -- gamemoderun %command% -dx11
mouse cursor sometimes hit screen edges and required an alt tab to fix
tutorial will freeze and crash
invites completely broken, everything else worked
Stucks on the splash screen without these launch options. These skip the launcher, and launch the game exe directly.
Runs better than on Windows, though tinkering is needed to get audio working. May have issues with really new mesa versions however.

missing without -sdlaudiodriver pipewire
fullscreen does strange things (taskbar visible), but borderless fullscreen works ok
No map editor for Linux. Valve, pls fix.
works good, general subtick issues but that's the same for everyone and not linux specific
I was so hyped to finally be able to make a map for CS, but alas, there's no map editor on linux. Disappointing really, considering they did use Qt to make it.

Copied EasyAntiCheat to DeadByDaylight/Binaries/EGS/EasyAntiCheat
Works flawlessly. Played one match.
BHVR haven't announced this yet so it might still be removed Heroic Launcher steps to make it work (for epic games players):
- Install game
- Use HeroicBashLauncher to create link to steam
- Copy the EasyAntiCheat folder to DeadByDaylight/Binaries/EGS/DeadByDaylight
- Launch game from steam! You might need to fiddle with the EAC runtime environment variable that HBL created, I personally set it to steam's own. I also replaced appid 0's with DBD's appid in the HBL script, but that is most likely not necessary. I also ran the EAC setup in the proton prefix, but I don't know if that's necessary.
needed to install gloriuseggroll version to fix it
This game does not run well for an RTX 2080 user.
crashed when entering photomode on character creation. Fixed by repeatedly pressing tab to get out of photomode before crashing.
Doesn't work as of Criminal Enterprises
Game doesn't start. Launcher has issues with connecting to library service. GTA5.exe starts and closes.
EAC error on beta branch. Doesn't work with ALVR on Windows either.
gamemoderun %command%
"beta" branch has an EAC error. Bypassing EAC makes game display only on monitor, not inside the headset. On Windows, SteamVR with ALVR crashes SteamVR with a critical error during loading. Tried -dx11 and -dx12 flags, didn't help.
EAC launch error.

game runs very badly, but this happens on windows too
game crashed once, it also seems to have a memory leak sometimes
game opens steamvr on windows, but through proton it doesn't do that
exclusive fullscreen crashes the game
runs very bad
multiplayer physics are buggy. might be linked to fps instead of fixedupdate
mouse drifting
online doesn't work

Ubisoft's roadmap for R6 2022 indicates that in Season 4 (Q4 2022), the game will get "cross-play / cross-progression", which should hopefully indicate Linux support, natively. My guess is we're going to be getting Ubisoft Connect for linux in Q3 2022, and R6S linux in Q4 2022 or Q1 2023. You can go to https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/game/rainbow-six/siege/game-info/seasons to look at the roadmap for yourself.
"Cross-platform" update did not make R6S cross-platform.

Doesn't work even in Non-VR
Launches to EAC. After the EAC launcher closes the game does not start, and steam says the game is Running. VRChat.exe is open in the background, and uses 0% CPU and about 200-300MBs of RAM. This seems to be an issue with many games that use newer EAC (start_protected_game), such as Deceit and MultiVersus.
