Works flawlessly
The bugs I found are probably not related to Proton. They'd probably also happen on windows, so the game works perfectly.

Now that the devs enabled Proton EAC support the game plays perfectly. It was unplayable for 6+ months after EAC was added which helps to explain all the borked reports.

I haven't played it with normal Proton, but it probably works fine. The intro cinematic video didn't work properly without Proton-GE so that's why I switched, but if you press the skip button and just play it will probably work fine. I ended up skipping it anyway because I was too lazy to watch it.

It works fine.

Gives EAC error then closes

This should de-listed as playable.

Doesn't run since EAC Added
Reported by a few users here already, Game starts but says "EAC is not opened" and exits immediately after.

Eac Update broke the game. Says AntiCheat is not initialized and crashes.
I quess someone been lackin to press 3 buttons to support eac on linux

Game gets stuck at start
DXVK_HUD=compiler,fps,frametimes,pipelines %command%
So my game gets stuck starting at "Running install script (Microsoft DirectX)" and I pretty much can't do anything against it :/

EAC Broken
Project Playtime's devs decided to use Easy Anti-Cheat and also went with a varient which does not work with Proton. Now, upon launch, the game reports "Anti-Cheat is not opened." and exits.

EAC Broke the compatibility.
After the EAC update the game no longer works on linux. When launching the game it says that the EAC is not open and exits the game.

EAC is now used, proton support is not enabled currently.
Can not run this game anymore due to the developer not enabling EAC + proton support.

DXVK_HUD=compiler,fps,frametimes,pipelines %command%
Easy Anti-Cheat was added as of 07-24-23. However it appears to be the EOS variant and does not get in the way of us playing.

Getting better performance here than I did on the same hardware on Windows even without gamemode. Gamemode is the only tinkering I've done and isn't even necessary. Recommend!
had to swap to proton 7.03 due to a DirectX bug going around proton but other then that works great
Gucci, it runs even better than Windows (on all low settings)
It might be server related since I was playing in Windows before and had tickets and perks. Now I'm on GNU/Linux, I don't have those anymore.

game runs very badly, but this happens on windows too
game crashed once, it also seems to have a memory leak sometimes
game opens steamvr on windows, but through proton it doesn't do that
Binded outer ring to shift for easy sprinting but be careful as this affects being the monster using they shift key as well and as of the date of this report theres no option to have the game rebind that key for that
Expect to have perfomance issues if youre running it on the Steam Deck since the game was just released as of the date of this report
This game will have some bugs and crashes until thew devs have them resolved soonn
If you go past the bugs and crashes youll enjoy the game for quite a while before you encounter the same problems again its quite a lot of fun
The main issue is the lack of controller support. But Linux compatibility is flawless from what i've played.
The game isn't very well optimized, you get about 20 FPS when on the train, but it becomes a solid 60 FPS when in the main areas. This is all on low settings.
DXVK_HUD=compiler,fps,frametimes,pipelines %command%
1440p Max settings generally saw 100+fps, but would dip to about 50-ish fps while in the train. Not unplayable, but the dip may be worse on weaker hardware
Servers are junk currently, but that seems to be a universal problem with the game. Performance dips while in the train, but nothing major
gamemoderun mangohud %command%
Funciona perfectamente, sin errores gráficos ni de sonido
Game works fine on Linux.
Постоянно после матча выскакивает ошибка с сохранением ,но все в порядке по итогу .
