Working out of the box. The game is very early early access, so bugs are to be expected.
I can see shadows of my weapons on the ground. But I checked this with my friend playing on Windows and it is a bug in the game that is present in windows too.
On some sessions fps counter said +144 fps but the game felt sluggish. After restarting the game the problem went away. This is probably due to the game being in early early access.
There are early access related issues but other than that game runs fine.
Been playing via proton for 4-5 hours now. Solid 60fps with vsync on. Had to restart Steam once 'cause of weird errors when launching the game.
Getting 30-60 FPS with Ultra settings. There are occasional stutters but nothing that has discouraged me from playing so far. Using Valve ACO, jomihaka's POE patched DXVK 1.21.1 (github -> jomihaka -> dxvk-poe-hack -> releases) and Feral Interactive's gamemode.
Metro games are awesome, and so far this hasn't disappointed either. Running between 80 and 150 FPS on Highest settings and 1440p
Some distance rendering causes "flicker" but nothing I haven't seen on other games (windows and/or linux).
Some Gamma issues. The gamma setting screen doesn't seem to reflect the real in game gamma. Dunno if this is cause of DX12/DX11 on Proton or just a design flaw in the game.
I recommend using DX11 instead of DX12, as the gamma in the menus and game seem to change between restarts on DX12.
Haventt played for very long, but seems to run at 60FPS on GOOD -settings. Had to disable DXVK, otherwise water would not render.
Shows as "Running" in steam library but does not launch.
Can't get it running on any Proton version.
Seems everyone who's got it running is using NVIDIA. So maybe there's something to think about.
On high settings at 1440p the game runs mostly between 80 and 120 fps. Some areas are laggy and cause hang ups.
Proton-5.21-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Using full screen windowed fixes this
On some areas there are hang-ups and fps drops
