Can't change any setting
Game barely works. You can't change the keybinds. You can't change screen from fullscreen to windowed. You can't change audio level and so on.
As buggy as it is on windows I guess
Kept playing the same glitchy sound when the game ended in the menu. It only happened once, but I had to restart the game.
Alt-Tab bugs out the game. I couldn't move the camera upwards with my mouse on the screen after an alt-tab, but I could move the camera to left, right, down without any problems and sometimes game froze and didn't even responded after a fast alt-tab. It even froze the system a few times.
Some graphics (characters or skins) won't load. On the heroes page, skins will show, but heroes might not for instance.
Game crashed twice or thrice in 100 hours of playtime. Like, literally steam and dota shut itself down. I was able to relaunch and reconnect, but it's annoying.
I had a few issues here and there, but there weren't major issues in the game. Sometimes the alt key got stuck after I alt-tabbed and went back. Sometimes it shut itself down for no apperant reason, but overall it is as buggy as it is on windows I guess. The only major issue was alt-tab.
After like 3-5 hours of playing, the game gets heavier and the main menu lags really bad.
Random stutters.

Installs, pops up the launching screen and then crashes. Tried 7.0-3 proton and older versions.
The game crashed in online co-op
Proton Experimental works like a charm
Native version of the game shuts down completely if you try to connect to a friend's game, but it works with the proton experimental. Native version of the game opens up smoother and no unexpected fps drops or scaling issues, but if you run it with proton (experimental in my case) there are a few fps drops. Though, I haven't tried the single player. Tutorial was running fine though.
Just download and play.

Game didn't crash but froze for a long time. (about 30 seconds)
If it was my first time trying this game and it worked the way it did on my system, I'd return the game and ask for a refund.
Click and play
It works better on Linux. Even the online version works perfectly. My friends had connection issues too, but when I hosted the server it was fine. I got better frames too. Haven't tried the VR version tho.
The new launcher bug got fixed so fast.
Nothing to add. No issues without any tinkering. Click and play.
(Except roach, I whistle and he wonders around on top of buildings or gets stuck on a tiny stone...)

New update broke the game
The new launcher update broke the game. I could launch the game and play the intro videos, but as soon as game starts it crashes.
