taskset -c 0-1 %command%
Requires the same are the first game, personally I think the Taskset Command is better for the Deck... Actually any time I try the Typology command on my Deck it just refuses to Boot, but on PC the Typology Command Works and Taskset makes it insta Crash
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 WINE_CPU_TOPOLOGY=1:0 %command%
For me it Boots and gets into Gameplay with Current Default Proton, Proton 9.0-4 adding the Luanch Options just gets rid of Lag Spikes and general Choppy Lag
Runs as Expected
Have not played much of it but it seems to run withoiut any Tinkering but Seems to also not be able to find my Remake Save Data, but I don't know if thats because I have not beaten remake of because the Save data is Stored in the Compatdata
Its kinda Blurry on Initial Boot
Run at about 15 to 20 to 30 FPS on Deck With only the Textures Set to Medium even though Lighting is actually what consumes more VRAM and RAM.

Not sure if Sqaure Play Tested beyond the games minimum and Recommended Specs because the minimum and recommended Specs are what comes up if someone just Google Searches "PS5 Equivalent GPU"
Rebirth Runs as Expected
Runs with no Tinkering as Verified Status indicated
After more I testing I figured out that in order to for Rebirth to be able to find Remake Save Data you need to the add FFVII Remakes Save Data to Rebirth's Compatdata/fake C Drive's my Games folder Remake's Save Data can be found in /SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/1462040/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/ Rebirth's can be Found in /SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/2909400/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/ Copy Remake's Save Data into Rebirth's Compatdata's to get the Bonuses for having Remake and Integrade Save Data.
Runs at erradic 15 to 30 FPS on Default Medium Setting which is playable but, Changing the Setting to Low gets 50 to 60 FPS

The Only thing I think I am doing Different than anyone else is Setting the Game to run in Dx11
When I first booted the Game it asked me if I wanted to pen Cinfig, which I did and I saw a Direct x11 Option and I selected that knowing one it has better Linuc Compatiability and 2 FFVII Remake plays better with in Directx 11 than it does in 12. Even on Windows the General Recomendation for Remake was to run it under Directx 11 instead of 12.
This is honestly because Sqaure never Optimizes for PC at all.
In the Game Setting. Switch to Change Resolution and Switch to Full Screen to get rid of Artifacting
When I noticed the Artifacting I knew that had to be resolution related. So I went into the Game Setting and...
Set the Resolution 1280 by 720 and then Switched to Fullscreen mode. In the ingame settings.
Unfurtunately you have to change Resulotion in Windowed it won't let you under Full Screen and Full screen still uses whatever Resolution it was manually set to because its actually windowed Full screen, but that does not explain why Full Screen mode locks the Resolution Option.
Also I had to Switch to do both these to fully get rid of the Artifacting. Changing the Resolution then switching back did nothing I had to switch it to Fullscreen to. This Indicates something is wrong with the Game's Autoscaling Functionality
Most games on Deck run in Windowed mode by Default, which usually is better. in thi\s case it seems not so
Again like other AAA Games. Set Graphics to low for best performance.

I first Tried GE-Proton9-13 but the openning Cutscenes did not have Audio. I then Switched to Proton Experimental and it did have Audio and the Game seemed to play just fine and the non Interactive(openning) Cutscenes had Audio.
I have Proton Experimental Set to be the Default for everygame so it might just be Proton Experimental.
Will only Save with Proton 6.3-8 Anime Style Opening has to be Skipped but the reswt of the Game plays just Fine
Will only Save with Proton 6.3-8 Anime Style Opening has to be Skipped but the reswt of the Game plays just Fine
unlike MS1. MS2 seems to now run fine with Proton Experimental without Tinkering
Switching to Proton Hotfix now has both Video and Audio in the Opening Cutscenes. Proton Experimental has Video but no Audio
Seems to need Big Picture Mode Active to boot. Will Need to Attempt that on the Garuda side of this PC as I tested this on a Drive I re-imaged into Steam OS 3 via the Deck Repair Tool.
Also for PC it seems Proton Experimental Gets Audio and Video for the Opening Cutscene Working, while on Deck its Proton Hotfix that does.
lagginess and Audio Drops during Proton Experimental Boot
Ok So After Testing on my Garuda Linux Instance I found that the Best way for me to get it working on my Install of Garuda Linux. On Steam Deck its just boot Proton Experimental. Exit Game Change Boot to Proton Hotfix let it boot or Fail to boot and switch back to Experimental to Get Audio.
On my Desktop Machine. At First it would not boot with Experimental. I had to first Boot with Proton 6.8-3 to get in game without the Audio. Then I exited and booted again with Experimental and it worked this Time, but it was Lagging and had audio Issues. Music cut out in Battle. So I then Quit Game Booted with Proton Hotfix and after then Switched back to Experimental to keep the Benifits of the Hotfix.
I have no Idea why this Worked but it did. Again I Switched to 6.3-8 to get the game running in General, then Switched back to Experimental, The Hotfix then Back to Experimental to get the Game running as Expected. Definitely the Weirdest way I got a Game running on Linux.

GE-Proton7-43 and the Launch options is what got the Game working for me.
looked over at Steam Deck Options. to See Someone got it running out of the Box with GE-Proton 9-2. Opening Movies don't have audio
quartz_feb2010, wmp11, qasf
Opening CutScenes have not Audio but the Rest of the Game does.
Could only get MDN to Launch through Steam Big Picture Mode. Audio Works in the Game, in the Regular Scenes, just not the Opening Scene or the Fully Rendered Video CutScenes.

Tiny bit of lag at the Start of the Game that Went away as I played more
Could only get MDN to Launch through Steam Big Picture Mode. Audio Works in the Game, in the Regular Scenes, just not the Opening Scene or the Other Fully Rendered Video CutScenes. Probably because those Scenes' Audio files are stored Separately from their Video Files.
Though while they add Flavor those Scenes are not Vital to understanding the Game's Story
after following what the People over here did I was able to play the game flawlessly https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/1922
gamescope -f -w 1920 -h 1080 -W 2560 -H 1440 -F fsr -- %command%
protontricks 460120 quartz_feb2010 wmp11 qasf
I am Dumb this whole Time I have been running the Protontricks Command as a Steam Launch Options. All I had to do was paste "protontricks 460120 quartz_feb2010 wmp11 qasf" into the Terminal/Console/Konsole the put "gamescope -f -w 1920 -h 1080 -W 2560 -H 1440 -F fsr -- %command%" into launch. First 5 times Launching it would only Launch under Wayland for Some reason but now it runs for me under X11 and I don't know why
WINE_ALERT_SIMULATE_SCHED_QUANTUM=1 %command%
This Command is Required to tell the game to ignore specific Calls and get the game to just run smoothly. IF Games from this era tend to either need this Command or a Command to limit the Game to only use 2 CPU Cores
Game will play but ingame Cutscenes won't All other Cutscenes, like the Intros, Openning and Start of the Game do. To get Ingame Cutscenes Running I Forced it to use Experimental (Proton Experimental). Cutscene have Audio Ticks.
Most Gamers Don't have Two Graphics Solutions so it should run without Tinkering for most who have the PC that Meet the required Spec.
This Game seems to Defualt to Integrated Graphics if you're System has them Available along side a Dedicated GPU. So either turn off the Games Access to it with a Launch Command or Turn off You're IGPU in you're Bios which is what I did.
