Runs pretty smooth. Can confirm that Proton Experimental allows you to use the regular launcher.
Don't know why, but Discord kept crashing when I had it in fullscreen. Changing to windowed mode seems to have fixed it.

On regular Proton and even Proton Experimental the game would blackscreen as soon as the animated cutscene in the intro sequence would play. Using GE-Proton7-29 fixed it for me.
Ran perfectly well on 6.3-7. No complaints whatsoever. Alt+Tab has not been an issue either as some people have reported.
Worked just fine. No tweaking needed
It even gave me less issues with fractional scaling unlike all other games.
Works pretty well on Proton, only crashed once. However, the native version is better.
I noticed that Proton consumes more resources than the native version does. Fullscreen also works better on native. Games don't sync between Proton and Native through the steam cloud. Luckily the game features it's own syncing feature in the top left of the save game menu. If you need to port a Proton or Windows save over to native, use that.
Nevermind, just use Proton. Native works better, but achievements don't work.
There goes my hardcore run..
Game runs fine, the performance impact was tolerable. The random crashes make this game hard to enjoy for more than two rounds.
Lag spikes
Crashes at random intervals during gameplay, really annoying
Very unstable and performs much worse than it does on Windows.
Significantly less FPS than on Windows, regardless of DirectX.
Crashes pretty often regardless of Proton version. It crashes on Windows too, but far less often.
Ran perfectly well out of the box. Multiplayer has not been an issue at all.
No longer borked thanks to Proton 7.0! Unfortunately still too buggy to play, too many artifacts appearing and glitching my entire system.
Tons of white spots all over the screen, and similar white spots attached to your cursor even outside the game and in other applications.
This happened on KDE Plasma on Nvidia, can't speak for other cases.
Had issues with Proton 7.0, such as artifacts and graphical glitches all across my system. Works perfectly with Experimental.

Some textures are entirely missing. This makes the game look incredibly bad.
Set it to force Proton 6-3-5, Steam says "Running", but the game never appears.
Seems to work perfectly fine using Steam Linux Runtime, about 10-20 FPS less than I had on Windows.
Like the others below, I used this guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/wine_gaming/comments/q0uh4p/the_great_ace_attorney_chronicles_cutscenes_fix/, except that I applied it to one of Proton's wine prefixes as someone in the comments explained
Before I applied the fix, creating a new game would result in a blackscreen, since the intro cutscene could not start. This happened on Proton Experimental and GE too. After following the reddit guide, I've had a flawless experience.
Worked pretty well, though mods are impossible to install.
Mod installation not possible
Couldn't get mod installation to work even with mono. Your best bet is copying already downloaded mods from a Windows version from Documents\My Games\Terraria\ModLoader\Mods to ~/.local/share/Terraria/ModLoader/Mods .
