Play like on windows apart the steam controller issue - xbox 360 pads worked fine
Didn't recognise my steam controller
The mid-season update has introduced Easy Anti-cheat which won't run under linux so has broken the game.
Played with x360 controller no issues - starts in windowed mode but can be changed
83 Hours in over the last few weeks (this game is a time sink!!) with no issues and seems to work perfectly.
Version 0.29.8 has broken proton support - the Devs are aware of the problem so hopefully will be fixed soon.
Massive slow during racing (5 to 10 FPS)
Just had quick go, apart from the quitting issue eveything else seemed to work fine
Game will not exit gracefully and the process had to be killed
About 90% of the way through the game with no real problems.
To minor issues, 1 tabbing out seemed to cause massive frame rate drop (restarting the game fix it) and some in-game video is audio only.
Seems to work fine - had some frame issue in late game but maybe due to CPU lag with 100s of ships on screen at the same time
Frame rates drops in later game
Seems like its timproving, the missing texture problem has been resolved for me - but with massive frame rate drop (9-18FPS)
No major issues, run slower than on windows but with a little tweaking it's fine
Reduce some of graphics settings as FPS was low (less than 20) - seems to been running between 35-50
Run perfect - but by default an older version of proton was used, which would not connect to the DLC server
I was getting a blackscreen then the game crashed before switching to eggroll
Played a few hours without any problems, as UEBS is a bit buggy at the best of times it's hard to tell if the occasional frame rate stutter is due to proton or not
Clicking play goes to a black screen and then crashes
It's a bit of a faff to get working, but once you do it pretty much the same as playing on windows.
Downloaded a DRM free SpaceMarine.exe
With post processing enabled there was major texture/lighting issues, as soon as it was disabled it looked fine
