Just some server lag (mostly due to the Ark Servers)
Do not install the Native versino use the proton version and pre compile shaders!
2.2.4+ works on my end, Idk why people are complaining about it. A fresh install works perfectly.
Some cars cause flickering on the display, this is fixed by limiting the framerate, making the flickering less / non existant.
It's really easy to access the Linux native client. Go to location ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/BeamNG.drive/BinLinux/ And launch "BeamNG.drive.x64" You can also add it in steam by "Add a game" -> "Add non steam game" -> "browse" -> the File location listed above, and enter name "BeamNG.drive.x64" under the name, as for KDE clicked "Open". And boom, its added to your libary for easy launching!
Do note though, native linux support is in very early alpha, and is unstable, please report bugs at https://www.beamng.com/threads/linux-port-%E2%80%93-feedback-known-issues-and-faq.86422/
Occasional stutter, but its probably the game sense it happened on windows as well.
This is a fun take on bussiness simulators, where u sell illegal substances such as Weed, meth, etc.
The average gamer, assuming you're at least 16+, would enjoy this game. It has a nice style, and doesn't take itself too seriously with well. Aliens, and nuns.
Build your drug empire today!
Ran well. Native client. Not really noteable
Bare-bones gameplay compared to other games like it. Otherwise runs fine.
Pretty stable and fun would recommend to normal gamers
Crashed while on proton GE's worked just fine on default (7.0-4)
Crashes shortly after starting the tutorial.
Shame because the game sounds really fun.
Sense latest patch, game appears to be working without crashing my entire desktop enviorment, overall recommended.
Servers are still having issues, but they fixed the games stability :D
While the servers are still a pretty big issues, people not being able to get into the game, etc. The game is really solid when you CAN get in, even public servers are still super fun, and have quirky and funny moments.
Borderless fullscreen causes massive performance issues, switching to fullscreen completely fixes this.
Its helldivers 2. Go spread some goddamn democracy!
The average gamer would enjoy this, its recommended to use a Steam headset, or a headset that supports linux. As Oculus you have to go through a long setup process to get ALVR running. Hopefully one day OculusLinkLinux gets to a point where its stable enough to use.
Good native client, DON'T USE PROTON.
Stable, fast, and fun. Dont use the proton version as it may not work as intended. Use native client trust me.
Bit buggy on the launcher but loaded into the menu, but then crashed upon starting
Completely borked currently.
Apart from the native version being broken (with dlc) ran perfectly fine on Proton. Would recommend to other gamers
Works fine until you want mods, sometime they just fail to compile lol. Otherwise recommended!
Decent game if you can pick it up on discount.
Great game man, I really wish Valve would make more games.
Recommended! I got it for 99 cents WHAT STEAL!
One click install, worked flawlessly.
Worked as intended
Highly recommended
RECOMMENDED! Runs perfectly, native linux. Great game. And good developers
Pretty rare to see a native linux game be this good. 100% would recommend and the modding community is insane!
Game starts up to the login part, Borked game
Great experiance! apart from stutters are the start (steam caching shaders) it was smooth glad to see more games support linux.
Multiplayer works how you would expect it to on windows, glad the devs decided to support linux!
100% would recommend.
Facepunch leaving linux users behind.
Facepunch (rust) said they where going to enable EAC support for linux and yet its been months sense then, and they still haven't.
And yet, still not linux support even though linux has more market share than macos.
Facepunch's main reason of not supporting Linux was the "lack of marketshare" meanwhile its supporting macos which has a smaller marketshare on Steam then Linux.
Otherwise, you could play on no EAC servers, but cheaters will be rampant, and not many people will play on those servers. As well. its not EAC protected.
Facepunch seriously needs to just enable support, from what I've heard its a single toggle inside of EAC.
Both yes and no. As long as you dont expience your save corrupted like me yeah runs decently as long as you precache shaders.
Black screened when i tryed to load my 2 hour play time save (Most likely corrupted...)
After like 2 hours of playing i was ready to start the next mission and boop! black screen, ruined my save file and im having to restart the 3 hours of grulling gameplay again as no one wants to exprience a game TWICE due to a bug.
Broke my save.
My save being corrupted kinda ruined the vibe for me.
But other w typical gamer would enjoy this.
Redoing my report on SCP Secret files, to a not recommended due to the black screening and constant save loading issues
Black screens a lot the more you progress
Wouldn't recommend buying. Really wish i could recommend but sadly cant.
Game just borked you see the small window and then boom crashes
Doesnt work on proton which is a shame as i was really hoping to play the game.
Steam has a native VR client for Linux. Works as expected on my quest via ALVR.
Runs just like windows!
Haven't noticed any issues, works extremely well on Linux.
Great game, Runs on almost anything. Hope Vulkan gets supported in TF2 soon.
Sometimes stutters but otherwise is VERY rare to happen (probably due to being on openGL and not Vulkan)
Works flawlessly, only issue is bots which communty servers fix.
Works flawlessly
One of the BEST FPS shooters for Linux, would 100% recommend.
AND DONT USE THE PROTON VERSION OF TF2 ITS BUGGY AS HELL. USE NATIVE CLIENT.
Anytime you attempt to get into a match you'll get booted in 30 - 10 seconds
Borked currently
Native client works well. If you like creating and destroying planets this is your game!
Good overall but the native seems to have some weird math problem where it'll just show insane numbers. Apart from that its fully playable
Wouldnt auto detect graphic settings and it wouldnt allow you to skip the auto detect, game is currently borked
Unplayable
