As Chromebooks aren't very powerful, the game can quickly drop in FPS if too many objects are spawned or if too many collisions calculations are being done at the same time. The game also loses some FPS every time an object is created, but goes back up quickly (on an empty map).
As Chromebooks aren't very powerful, spawning a very high quantity of objects or too many collisions at the same time could result in a game crash.
The game works, but if you would like to keep a correct amount of FPS and avoid crashing, try to occasionnaly empty the map. Also try not to have too many mods installed, they could reduce FPS a lot.

Works flawless out of the box.
No launch options, steam recommended proton (i.e no forced proton version)
It's even better than on Windows!1!!

Low fps on a decent hardware
gamemoderun %command%
i have 2-4 fps on people playground while on windows 11 it has atleast 30 fps.

yo i got 240 fps consistent
this lowk fire to play windows games on linux

The game does not start
It worked for me on previous distros.
click play, works fine
gamemoderun %command%
some objects (like liquids and batteries) don't display properly

Flawless for the unmodded player, minor hitch which may be unrelated to proton when modded.
The issue with mods can be easily fixed by just hitting recompile until it works, usually once or twice. Proton version doesn't matter.
TLDR: PERFECT.

literally the same
literally the same as windows on arch with kde plasma x11

Worked out of the box
Same experience as I had on windows
Broken Mods "Connection Refused" Switched to proton 8.0.5 and it worked

Had an issue where every mod would say "Connection refused." and not enable, was able to fix it by switching to proton 8.0-5

Worked very well out of box

Set fullscreen. It will crash otherwise.
Not using fullscreen leads to system wide freezes. Running polybar somehow fixes this.
Runs quite litterally exactly the same as it would on Windows

Game works the same as on windows.
Minor stutters
The game runs fine, but it sometimes lags for a frame but it doesn't mess with the gameplay that much.

external applications make a crackle sound for half a second when their audio begins playing
high speed objects very occasionally pass through stationary ones instead of colliding
Used to work great. Now it crashes my whole system.
Cursor is locked in windowed mode

It doesn't run out of the box

doesnt work on ntfs drives
very light fps difference because of proton
Runs well no issues so far

Crackled at the beeginning but then stopped
I noticed slightly lowered performance
I kept having other problems and reinstalled steam. Considered switching to lutris.

Works wonders, nothing special to point out.

Degrades quality of other audio sources when a loud sound is played in ppg
The only issue that ive had was some things not displaying properly like levels on batteries. Was fixed by using proton GE

A bit crackly when multiple sounds played at the same time.
It ran well and was fun to play, it was a really nice experience to see something working near flawlessly with Proton.

gamemoderun %command% -force-opengl
Jukebox visualizer is bugged
Performance seems worse than what I remember from the Windows version
Note that the tinker steps were just me attempting to remedy the performance problems, they're not necessary to play the game.
