Added launch options: PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Starts off slowly, and it doesn't go further than a black window.
installed corefonts
Starts off very slowly, a tiny window appears then properly resizes itself, the first time I ran this a faint "CHANGED" logo appeared but nothing more, later tries got nowhere, just a black window.
Could be my hardware.
Although the stuttering might throw some people off, It doesn't degrade the experience of this specific game. Everything else is fine.
Sometimes it turns really sluggish
Playable with some patience
Added -linux to the launch options
Some text was cutoff and scaled to fit the original text, Hats were misplaced, some particles are slighly bigger and cutoff (like text), duck feet texture enlarge (like text) while frozen in ice, the duck's texture enlarges making it look more pixelated (like text) while sliding.
while Alt-Tabbing the alt became always pressed until you press it again (I use gnome, might be gnome.) I use a keyboard and the controls I mapped for windows synced to linux but the only button that didn't work was the chat button (mapped to "}", dg says "/" normal since i use a latam keyboard, but it worked on windows and not on linux)
Flawless for the unmodded player, minor hitch which may be unrelated to proton when modded.
The issue with mods can be easily fixed by just hitting recompile until it works, usually once or twice. Proton version doesn't matter.
TLDR: PERFECT.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
VERY Scratchy, as if it's having trouble buffering.
The game does not hit 30 fps no matter the video setting.
Maybe if you disable audio, and don't mind the low performance.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Pretty sure this is related to my hardware because any game I use WINED3D on has scratchy audio.
