Works without issues on Linux
I haven't tested on windows, but it is very smooth given my hardware and cooling setup. You need a good computer to run this game regardless
gamemoderun gamescope -W 1920 -H 1080 -f -- %command% --use-d3d11
I experienced flickering on Wayland through XWayland. This is due to Nvidia's drivers. Updating to the 555 beta drivers fixed this for me.
Game would crash if started in fullscreen mode, but borderless and windowed works. (PS: you have to delete game config if you leave the game on fullscreen mode)
Some launch options might be needed for the optimal performance, but overall, you can just install the game and play. Good job, arrowhead!
works just as windows, however a few extra quirks needed to perfect everything. Newer versions of proton might run this game worse.
gamescope -W 1920 -H 1080 -r 144 -f -- %command%
Would force fullscreen and focus the window when alt-tabbing away
the default steam mappings are a bit weird, and steam input doesn't work without gamescope
i have used mods (DivaModLoader) to enable higher refresh rates ingame, hence the use of the -r 144
parameter in gamescope.
note: do NOT use gamemode, it will activate a 24h anti-tampering period, in which you cannot play the game.
Flickering caused by Nvidia's drivers with XWayland. The beta 555 drivers fix this.
Worked perfectly with people on windows. No issues here. Even modded worked.
Lethal Company works perfectly fine through Proton.
Works wonders, nothing special to point out.
gamescope -W 1920 -H 1080 -f -- %command%
probably because i'm playing under Hyprland. using gamescope fixed the issue
rockstar launcher handles save games slightly weirdly between devices, lost some progress moving from steam deck to pc
Lowered graphics settings - the gpu goes to 100% in most cases!
The performance isnt the best on the default graphics settings, and you will see stutters when panning and zooming in/out.
zooming in and out causes lots of lag
maybe play on better hardware than the steam deck, but it is playable.
Runs natively and as expected. Works perfectly on Wayland, and has no major issues. However, the resolution may be set to the wrong one on startup. Easy to fix, however.
The game fails to launch. It wouldn't have worked anyway, because of AntiCheat.
Tried to run the game with different launch options, proton versions, protontricks etc.
Not playable on Linux.
