Used Monado (Envision) instead of SteamVR
Some double inputs, and sometimes laggy
Loading scenes takes slightly more than on Windows on the same hardware

LD_PRELOAD="" WINE_CPU_TOPOLOGY=8 PRESSURE_VESSEL_FILESYSTEMS_RW=$XDG_RUNTIME_DIR/wivrn/comp_ipc:/var/lib/flatpak/app/io.github.wivrn.wivrn %command%
Slight input lag
Lower graphics performance

Runs pretty much fine using WiVRn + Meta Quest 2(Wired)
Game ran worse than Windows on average, but not unplayably so. You might have to lower your settings a touch in heavier scenes
Everything else works as expected.

Works perfectly with no configuration changes, highly recommend ALVR when using Quest 2 hardware
Used ALVR to play via Quest 2 headset

Had tou install it to a linux partition instead of ntfs(ntfs not working correctly on linux)
Dont mix linux and windows, it wont run XD

Noticeable stuttering
It runs, just not very well.

I used a Meta Quest 2 via WiVRn and OpenComposite to run
Noticably more smoother gameplay than on Windows 11 SteamVR
No launch options needed

Started with GE-Proton9-16 and had no issues.

Great game where you mess around with guns stress free. might be my favourite VR game of all time.

Played on Quest 2 with ALVR (wireless). Had some trouble where the game would show as "Waiting..." in steamvr but on the desktop i could see my head and controllers move around (this was before i tried GE-Proton and the launch option). Now it runs the same if not better than on Windows. Amazing game, everyone enjoy.

Played with Quest 2 via ALVR

It's possible to run Quest 2 on Arch Linux using ALVR. Check the wiki's and installation guides.
Using ALVR and SideQuest i have managed to run this game using a wired connection. The game runs fine. If using Arch Linux the AUR package for the ALVR might not work, i had to install it independently.
I haven't tinkered with audio. When i played the game the audio was outputting from my default audio device.
Sometimes the controllers don't get detected. Restarting both the PC and the Quest 2 worked out fine for me.
Also there was a slight input lag

The peformance of the game wasn't really that smooth. My hardware should be able to run this game well.
I played on a Valve Index at 90hz.

Slighly pops
I got awfully low frame rates, even with low graphics (which i did not get on windows)

The average gamer would enjoy this, its recommended to use a Steam headset, or a headset that supports linux. As Oculus you have to go through a long setup process to get ALVR running. Hopefully one day OculusLinkLinux gets to a point where its stable enough to use.

gamemoderun %command%
bit of stutter and thats about it
The game is basically the same as on windows

Excellent performance and stable.
The game runs great on Proton 8 as well as on GE-proton. There are some minor graphical glitches on the main loading area, but everything looks ok once in a scene.
Almost couldn't tell it wasn't native if you didn't tell me.
Only once at the beginning of my playtime, I got a strange error saying the game was out of cpu cores, which i could not close and forced me to restart the game. Other than that, no issues at all.
As an aside to this, I used ALVR, which may have caused the instability I talked about, but I am unsure. As another note, I used an Oculus/Meta Quest 1, so your milage may vary from headset to headset, but nonethless, I hope it is good, hotdog shooty trip :).
Performance has decreased a little, probably CPU-bound since shadows being enabled is the only thing that dip the framerate below 90 in any scene. In ROTW, it always performs below 90fps regardless of whether shadows are enabled or not.
On Windows, shadows could be set to whatever on most scenes and stay above 90, and ROTW could run without shadows above 90

Delete or rename this folder to prevent a Media Foundation crash in scenes with the new item spawner H3VR/h3vr_Data/StreamingAssets/TutorialVideo
Scenes such as RotR have noticable slowdown, but this may be the case on Windows as well
Playable out of the box with a small performance penalty compared to native
May just as well be subjective, but i suspect it's a bit slower on my setup compared to a windows build. Can run 120fps on low / 90 fps on medium with almost no reprojections.
On my pancake display, an error message is displayed that the game has crashed. However, this does not show in the HMD at all and i can play as expected until i press the "ok"-button on the error window.
Works perfectly out of the box, no extra tweaking required.
Parts of guns become black when held at certain angles.
Played on valve index. Had no frame rate issues. Could be because of my setup or the newer proton version.
Playable, but markedly less enjoyable due to performance issues. Performance penalty can easily cause VR/motion sickness
Game runs at ~10 - 15% performance loss compared to running natively in Windows. A drop in detail will be required.
Use Proton 4.11-13 if you want to play - using any of the GloriousEggroll or Proton 5.xx releases will cause the game to crash on start.
Some in-game settings will not work despite having them set to a particular value (e.g - bullet casings will still disappear despite despawn timer being set to Infinite)
Awful performance
Heavy aliasing on all edges. Text is nearly unreadable on an Index when your head is stationary.
In the Friendly 45 range, got 35 fps on maxed settings, 50 on bottomed out settings. Visible frame doubling whenever I moved my head, which is uncomfortable to look at.
Works great. 10/10 game.
Required a drop in detail, nothing major.
10/10 Would wack my hand into wall again.
Play with weapons in VR
Works on Fedora 31 and Valve Index.

I literally threw up because it was stuck at 15 FPS. I can't watch a slideshow.

Proton 4.11 has resolved all controller related issues.

Proton 4.11-1 and Forward fixes Index controller support.

The game runs fine but will not recognize Index controllers.
Game launches, but the controllers do not appear in the VR space. Tested with Index controllers.

Game runs but does not acknowledge controllers.
