After exporting NVAPI every single setting in the game works out of the box, including Raytracing
%command% -nostartupmovies -nosplash
Using Proton Experimental and the default an OpenGL renderer wayland window would open that I couldn't close. GE-Proton9-13 resolved this. Didn't actually negatively affect anything in game though.
gamemoderun WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winmm,version=n,b" PROTON_ENABLE_NGX_UPDATER=1 DXVK_NVAPI_DRS_SETTINGS=NGX_DLSS_SR_OVERRIDE=on,NGX_DLSS_RR_OVERRIDE=on,NGX_DLSS_FG_OVERRIDE=on,NGX_DLSS_SR_OVERRIDE_RENDER_PRESET_SELECTION=render_preset_latest,NGX_DLSS_RR_OVERRIDE_RENDER_PRESET_SELECTION=render_preset_latest %command% --launcher-skip -skipStartScreen
added version.dll, vcredist22
It's also close to perfect as it can get, only thing you might deem necessary from the tinkering I did was the nvapi launch options if you're on nvidia.

Multiplayer worked as expected, both summoning and invading.
There are reports of Xorg causing screen tearing, but I've not experienced that.
Performance issues that appeared after DLC are gone
There were a few performance issues after the DLC released that made the experience pretty rough. Uncharactaristically low FPS for example. These issues have seemingly been resolved.
Progress from my initial purchase of the game on Steam was no longer there, but I doubt it is a Linux issue. Instead it could be related to having to launch through Epic before I could log in to Steam to "claim" my items, so to speak.
If you want to play purely through Steam you need to either cancel out of the EPIC online service file installation every single time or you're just boned. It's a terrible experience. Technically this game works, and once it's working it's fine, but if you bought the game years ago and just want to game, you're SoL.
Follow the Fall Guys guide you can find on the Heroic Games Launcher github and the game will work absolutely fine, but you must tinker if you want it to work.

With Vysnc off the game was absolutely pegged at 600 FPS for 1.7ms frame time. Silky smooth experience.
proton-cachyos is not a standard proton version but instead ships with CachyOS. Game worked fine on Experimental and GE-Proton as well.
Marked as tinker due to using proton-experimental, works fantastically without that though.

semi-frequent stutter, seemed to be resolved due to Feral's Game Mode, and setting higher IO priority. Seemingly gone after TU2
Not since TU2
The launch state of this game, especially on Nvidia and Linux, was frankly unacceptable. I think after TU2 with the true upgrade to DLSS4 and their improvements to vram usage and texture streaming, it's fine. If you were waiting until now, that was wise of you.
The game will run perfectly the first time you compile shaders. Every time you launch after that the game will stutter nearly constantly, and will crash 100% of the time if you try to change or forge equipment, if you even manage to load in to the lobby without crashing.
I cannot in good concious recommend this game currently be played on Linux, at least not with an Nvidia GPU. You'll lose some performance due to the compatibility layer's overhead, you'll also have to recompile the shaders every single time the game launches if you want the game to actually work. It's not enjoyable and forces you to launch 30 minutes before you plan to play.
%command% /WineDetectionEnabled:False
It works with no tinkering, but you won't have access to some settings in game. You'll need to disable Wine Detection for that.
