Already runs under Proton
Though it seems to not be necessary to run the game, installing Arx Libertatis won't hurt and may improve other aspects that are faulty no matter the OS. I suppose you could say the mod transforms it into a native game, since there's a Linux version that's easy to install.
Doesn't do anything at first. Adding "PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command% -nointro" makes the loading screen appear, but fails to load the game itself.
Unlike the native option, my wireless Xbox 360 controller works with Proton. On the native version, only the keyboard worked.
Small FPS, but my computer is weak. Managed to install a Portuguese translation with Wine.
Sometimes the game gets stuck on loading the next cutscene and you need to Alt + F4 out of it. Controller works fine.
It can be weird plugging a controller for the first time. You have to manually input what's what, press any button and it will bring the config screen. I managed to set it just by pressing arrow up/down, then enter to set a button, then pressing the button on the controller. It might be that after disabling Esync it will work normally, but I didn't until later. Disabling it fixed (about 95%) of the sound problems, most notably no SFX on cutscenes. 60 FPS generally, about 45 when there's something big happening.
Everything seems to work. It may be that after some hours of gameplay the audio starts to stutter, but it might've been just my computer's fault. Either way, restarting the game solved it.
Disabling D3d11 didn't work like others said, but it ran perfectly after trying PROTON_USE_WINED3D
Stopped crashing after setting PROTON_USE_WINED3D, but FPS is too low to play a fast-paced game, specially considering the minimum specs. The controller seems stuck on walking to the right.
As others said, works after installing TFix. Before that, it crashed when clicking "New training"
Very few graphical bugs (perhaps 5 objects not rendered in 13 hours of gameplay, so I'm giving it a Platinum). No need to add anything for me, but I had to select the second item on the "play" list, since the first one wouldn't work. Good frame rates, fonts are bad but it seems to be a game problem.
