Starts good (singleplay)
Played with Proton 9.0-4.

It feels really weird to play this game clearly designed for a console on a desktop computer, but hey, I ain't complaining.
Game audio crackles fairly frequently in short bursts during the scoring screen when coming out of a level.

Silly cutscenes make or break a LEGO game. I had audio loop issues and it ruins the point of the game imo.
Audio keeps looping in cutscenes
Performance drops occasionally

Excellent, Works Great

Game runs brilliantly on Steam Deck, I played the GOG version of the game and installed via Heroic Launcher, no issues!
Set TDP to 6 Watts
I was initially quite worried when I read all the reports people had of stuttering etc, but that wasn't my experience.
Straight off the bat, I own this game on GOG (Good Old Games) for the DRM-Free experience.
I went into Desktop Mode and installed via Heroic Launcher, I didn't have to tinker with any '.dll' files or DX versions or anything like that, it was literally as simple as Install and Play.
The ONLY thing to note, is when you launch the game for the first time, it doesn't have the best controller support, it expects Keyboard Input, this was really easy to fix though, I simply navigated down to Controller Settings In-Game and changed my Input to "Xbox 360 Controller" then I used "STEAM + X" to bring up the On-Screen Keyboard and then navigated down through each button and mapped it to my Steam Deck, this worked a treat.
From here, it was smooth-sailing, it was a mostly locked 60fps adventure from beginning to end. (I completed the entire game on my Steam Deck, with zero bugs/crashes/issues)
There WAS the very very occasional stutter. (Usually at the beginning of a cutscene or when loading in a large new part of the map) BUT, this really wasn't an issue or very noticable, it's more akin to something you'd experience when emulating a game (think RPCS3 etc) and you're loading shaders in a new area for the first time.
I actually played this game on my Gaming PC which runs Windows 11 and interestingly, the game seems to run better on my Steam Deck for whatever reason, so I'm pretty chuffed with that!
I set my TDP to 6 watts for this game and that gave me a pretty locked 60fps and meant I had great battery life whilst playing.
As you'd expect for a game as old as this, I played it on Max Graphics with Enahanced Graphics turned on, 16:10 resolution, etc etc and had zero issues with performance, it kept 60fps at 6 watts with no trouble.
Like I said earlier, I played from Episode I - The Phantom Menace, all the way to Episode VI - Return of the Jedi and had zero issues. I'd highly recommend this game. I have the GOG version, but I imagine if you played through Steam, it'd be just as good.
Highly recomend playing with controller

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
A bit of crackling but honestly I blame my hardware for this
The only reason I used PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1
is because my GPU doesn't support Vulkan (which is needed for normal Proton), if you have a more recent GPU this is most likely not needed making this game basically install and play for most people.

I don't know if this is limited to linux, but in episode 4, level 3, R2D2 falling of the speedster sound loops til the end of the level
Some studders here and there in cutscenes

I've completed the game using Proton 9.0-1 without issues
The only minor problem I've noticed is the micro stuttering that happens during the level openings. But it seems like a game problem, since I've seen Windows players complaining about it as well.

PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1
Tabbing out on a WM can sometimes cause issues.
Proton experimental breaks everything for some reason. Switch to an older proton version. Also make sure you configure steam input correctly on the game's libriary page, not in game.

Set max TDP to 6-8W, any lower causes performance issues during gameplay

The GOG version requires DirectX9 dlls in order to fix missing graphics and broken menus. Namely D3DCompiler_47.dll and d3dx9_35.dll.
The GOG version of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is missing the 2 DirectX 9 Dlls required to work on the steam deck. Namely D3DCompiler_47.dll and d3dx9_35.dll. While both can be installed via winetricks/protontricks, the missing textures makes the game practically unplayable.
There is a slight stutter when loading cutscenes and new areas for the first time. However, this delay can be reduced by disabling the enhanced graphics mode, making it indentical in length to lag from online games.
The GOG version requires the Directx9 dlls and tinkering however with some help from a friend, it's worth noting the steam version does not require any tinkering at all in order to function. It works out of the box with no texture problems that I could notice.

Installing D3DCompiler_47.dll and d3dx9_35.dll

Slight stutters on initial loading of cutscenes amd game however changing the resolution in-game to 1280x800 seems to fix the problem.

Works flawlessly

Works great in Proton 8 without any tweaks!
It used to require disabling esync to prevent the audio from looping, but starting with Proton 8 it seems to work great now without any tweaks.

Slight stutters during cut scenes and VERY rare during gameplay
Fonctionne parfaitement

No se porque tenia un glich grafico (se veia lleno de colores), se soluciono cuando instale Blood. Eso funciono.
Todo funciona desde Steam.

Cutscenes little stutters
No problem so far, gameplay was smooth but Cutscenes have a little stutter but nothing to complain about.

there are fps drops in some parts of the game, but this also happens on windows
Works Great
Some incorrect sounds are played. E.g. Java "utini" is the select sound from the menu
Some short lags occured during gameplay. But they are very rare
Had no issues playing the game to 100%
Slight frame drops during scene transition, particularly during cutscenes.
Lego Star Wars TCS runs almost perfectly at a nearly consistent 60fps, however there are occasional frame drops(mostly during cutscenes)
Occasionally stuttering and frame drops
Cutscenes in particular seemed to have a lot of stuttering and frame drops but this often wouldn't affect gameplay.
Would recommend to anyone looking to replay this wonderful classic.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 %command% -w 1920
Audio desyncing in a few cutscenes, a few sounds are lower quality than usual
Need to change width in launch options
Need to configure inputs at first launch, no players connected by default
I have not tried launching the game extracted and modded yet, I want to do that
The constant frame drops really ruin the experience. I didn't have the desire to continue playing.
The game will have a really jarring stutter every minute or so. There's genuinely no reason why this should be the case given the Deck's hardware.
5W tpd
When shooting as India jones shots max out volume and might possibly damage steam deck speakers
Some effects wont show properly
Random fps drops
Random crashes when contiuning from sleep
Works ok
Game looked like some one put vaseline over screen or way too bloomy. Also some effects have artifacts or wont work correctly
Random framedrops
Major Controller Lag makes this COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE. No idea why it is marked as verified working or why everyone else has marked it good.
MAJOR Controller Lag
Good out of the box experience, but the minor stuttering in cutscenes could be annoying to some people.
mangohud %command%
Shift tabbing while having the menu open would read my mouse inputs, so if I clicked, that menu option would be selected even though I had the overlay on.
Minor but consistent stuttering on all cutscenes, and a 2 or 3 particular areas in the game.
On the geonosis battle, there was a a wave were an enemy didn't spawn, so I had to restart from a checkpoint. I was also stuck on top of a dome in the mission were you escape hoth on free play.
Only played around with it for roughly 10 minutes, but it seemed to work
Did all the missions and got most of the collectibles (I stopped at 90% game completion), so it's safe to say I've experienced everything the game has to offer and didn't encounter any other issues.
Edited the Maximum resolution in the config file /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/32440/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/LucasArts/Lego Star Wars - The Complete Saga/pcconfig.txt
ScreenWidth 1280 ScreenHeight 800 WindowWidth 1280 WindowHeight 800
Do Not edit the ingame resolution after this.
Fixed it to 40 FPS, but thats probably not needed.
Ocasional 1 second strutter, but its rare
Runs perfectly
Played on the 512GB model.
Worked perfectly out of the box!
Works perfectly fine.
1-2 seconds stutter from time to time
Game runs great out of the box, besides some small stutters I encountered no issue in my playtime.

The only minor thing i have managed to notice is that tabbing out before reaching title screen crashes the game, other than that the game works perfectly without any noticeable downgrades
