Ran great out of the box
works great, might need to tinker for 21:9 support however, black bars are no big deal on ps2 era games imo

3 FPS in game and 6 in the menu
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d3d9=n,b" gamemoderun %command%
protontricks 6860 -q --force quicktime72
Установил русификаторы звука, текста, роликов и фикс для широкоформатных мониторов. Прошел игру полностью, игра шла идеально.

changed dpad to arrow keys and made sprinting better
occasionally crashed when loading a save (including restarting a level). this issue persisted until I downgraded to Proton 5.13-6

Black screen from reloading the game, fixed by anti-aliasting
Crashes after loading save more than 2 times or restarting the mission

When loading a game save, there's a chance that the game crashes outright. it happens every so often.
Works as expected.

Crashed after every mission when using Proton 8. Latest ProtonGE 7 fixed the issue.
The PC version doesn't support controllers. For dualsense there was a reasonable community mapping to WSAD. I added gyro and it's great.

It runs fine, but the constant freezing is too annoying to deal with.
When Alt-tabbing out of the game, the audio will get stuck on a constant loop. It returns to normal once you tab back in though.
Everytime you reload a save you have about a 50/50 chance of the game freezing completely, and requiring you to force quit the game and restart the entire level. I tried enabling SLI in the config menu like others have suggested elsewhere, but it still happens. I deleted the h4 patch but that had no effect either. Even if you play the game without reloading saves or restarting chapters the game will sometimes freeze at the end of a level, making you redo the whole thing anyway.
It should be noted that the game runs perfectly fine besides the freezing, and I had no other problems at all with the game while playing. The highest resolution the game supports by default is 1600x1200. For higher resolutions, including 4K, you can use the h4 patch found here. I didn't try using a controller with this game.
Community controls are bad.
Works on Proton and GE proton just fine First launch game frozen on start up. After reboot deck plays great.
Works like a charm!

Set resolution in-game settings
The use of the virtual keyboard is mandatory in order to create the new profile
Works fine out of the box.
Game works fine out of the box. No issues with audo or video. I was able to finish it two times without crashes and any issues whatsoever. In general it was a pleasant experience.
The framerate was solid 60fps almost all the time. I've experienced FPS drops to 30-40 a few times in area with high tension and lots of NPCs but I wasn't been able to reproduce it later on so I ignored it.
Game works perfectly

(GOG version) Works good
Played GOG version with Proton 7.0-1.
Unable to launch the game, crashes on startup

DXVK_ASYNC=1 gamemoderun %command%
This crackling doesn't happen often and is not noticable.
Alt tabbing out of the game fixed the issue of fullscreen not fully being on screen.
Do not alt tab out of the game while it is running it can cause the game to crash. However it lets you alt tab out of it on start up without issue.
I don't have any issues with this game, stuttering was fixed by adding dxvk_async=1 and this game is really buggy and broken but in a fun way. Worth playing on Linux.
runs perfectly OOTB. 40+ hours gametime and no issues whatsoever
Alt Tabbing is broken for me, but aside from that, it works amazingly.

Game runs fine, with Steam it also has controller support. I personally used an Xbox controller. The downside is that Hitman Blood Money PC Port was never intended to use a controller though and it's a bit frustrating but that's not Proton's fault.
It would have been nice with controller support, however the one other thing i should include in this review is Nvidia drivers on Linux. You need to disable your iGPU for Nvidia drivers to kick in and that's what made all my games run terribly before i disabled my Intel iGPU.
The Nvidia drivers I am using are proprietary as well, so there are no real open source solutions. Overall the game runs great, so even if this review might be a thumbs down; that's not a reflection on Proton or Steam because game runs flawlessly and deserves it's Platinum Rating.

Runs exactly as it would on Windows.
When I used 1280x720 it upscaled to 1920x1080 with FSR and it looked great.
Runs better than windows
Installed easily, no problem running.
Works perfectly with proton 5.13-6
It crashed a few times in the 10+ hours I've played
It worked on the second installation.

No issues, just runs fine.
ALT+TAB not working properly
No tweaking required and runs flawless as if it was native.
Felt native.
Weird shadow flickering in the tutorial.
