When i ran i natively there where no sound... might be some dependencies i was missing. Switching to proton, and sound was back.
I dunno how to solve the sound issue on the native port... i didnt need to try because proton version just worked.

Black screen when tabbing back into the game
Game was capped at 60 fps most of the time, and fps reduced to about 5 in menus sometimes. solved it by switching to OpenGL instead of Vulkan
Sometimes wierd coulumns would appear on the screen. only able to get them to disappear with reboot.
sometimes the screen would not align properly: some of the top bit would be missing, and a black bar would be at the buttom. Like if the entire screen shifted up a couple of pixels
Works with the recommended Proton version... installed on steam and played. nothing else. great experience

added the DLC.bdt file
Couldnt play online until i added the DLC file (touch DLC.bdt in console was enough in the game dir)
The fix for online play is not needed. but without it the game makes it seem like you are cheating or something illegal xD

after last patch the game will freeze after a couple of second spawning on the ship.
Have to kill process. am yet to find a solution
Fullscreen works about 25% of the time. 75% of the time the came freezes and is needed to be forced shut. Windowed mode has this weird 1 pixel outline all the way around the screen, however the game works, so this is the way.
ProtonGE did not work. intro videos bugged out. swapped to Default 9.0-3 and I had zero issues after that.
This is a tinker report because "My" default which is ProtonGE did not work, however steams default did work fine.
Swapped seamlessly between Native and proton. Ended up using Proton to make modding easier
Works GE, havent tried anything else..
Havent tested other proton versions. My default is GE
