Cursor cycling through the menus
The cursor keeps cycling through the menu. Switching to the few latest version of proton did not solve the issue.
Everything else seems to be working.

DRI_PRIME=1 %command%
Игра сразу пошла, без всяких проблем. (out from box) Работает что на интегрированной графике, что на выделенном графическом чипе. Для активации выделенного чипа прописана строка его инициализации при запуске игры.
I usually use Proton 6, but this game ran too slow on it. I'm not sure whether I've tried 7.
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=100 %command%
Using vanilla Proton, there's a rather small glitch. Whenever you take out a leader unit in this, you'll see a brief sequence where the an emblem is displayed over the corpse and subsequently shatters to indicate a leader has been taken out. This did not display for me on either vanilla Proton 7 or 8. Switching to experimental fixed it. No other graphical issues were found.
Some additional notes:
Aside from a tiny graphical issue, this game worked pretty much flawlessly for me out of the box.
The game only has frame-limiting options for 30/60/90/Unlimited, so I used
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=100
on my 100Hz monitor, as this game me better frame pacing than the built-in vsync option.I noticed some people complaining about performance below, but I can only say I absolutely had no issues whatsoever wit this. With everything on max at 3440x1400, my RDNA2 PC sat comfortable at 150-200fps for most of the game whenever I turned off the frame limit. Some users seemed to link this to Nvidia cards, so I tested this on my RTX 2060 Mobile laptop, and I can confirm that with everthing on max at 1080p, I sat at 60-80 fps and never noticed any dips.
In other words, my experience is that this game performs exactly as you would expect it to: very well.
On Steam Deck it cannot save. Need a solution. It says game is successfully saved when you save, but when you try to load, save file is just not there.
Terrible performance, firstly on NVIDIA cards
Got only 25 FPS in game, the only place where I got high fps was on the menus
Just grab and go! No issues to report just good times.

General performance is percievably lower than on Windows. Although still quite playable.
With exception to reduced performance, game runs well. No crashes, glitches, or noticeable bugs (other than uselessness of Grenadiers' interception fire -_-).

No major bugs encountered so far.
The "friendly fire" cutscene continue having slower fps and stutters, but now instead of 19 fps it runs at 44 fps.
My last review was positive, but considering the issues that I had, I don't recommend it in any way
This game doesn't run properly on NVIDIA cards due a game engine issue with DXVK and NVIDIA that probably will never be fixed: https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/issues/1421#issuecomment-583851491.
In recents versions of Wine the performance drop in the cutscenes, in the chapter 3 have a cutscene named "Friendly Fire", were you can clearly see the frames droping to the 20's, in the start of some maps, like the "Milt Outskirts" (The first map and the one that you will see in some of the Squad Stories and in a Skirmish) you can also see almost a slideshow.
Any version of Wine above the 4.2-9 start lose performance in somewhere, in the cutscenes, in some maps, in some maps parts, is unenjoyable due the inconsistency, even in the version that I recommended, firstly considering that my hardware can handle this game very well.
Just works
Besides the annoying problem with NVIDIA cards, I can't say that the game is unstable, is an enjoyable experience.
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=45 gamemoderun %command%
Due a bug that this game have with NVIDIA cards, the performance with them decreases a lot compared to Windows in the same hardware. That's why I locked it in 45 FPS, to have more concistency in the gameplay. Keep in mind that sometimes it can go to the mid 30's.
There is what the dev of DXVK said about the issue: https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/issues/1421#issuecomment-583851491
Also, Proton versions above the 6.3-8 tends to have slower FPS, firstly in the first map of the game with no reason, so, stick to this version to don't have issues.

Perfect out-of-the-box.
I had to disable steam input for this game. (using dual sense controller)
Found no issues
Works without any problems.
It just works
Runs alright out of the box, there is room for improvement however.
Framerates get choppy sometimes, but nothing unplayable.
Game sometimes freezes. It may or may not return after a few minutes.
Works just as good as on Windows. No adjustments needed on the current experimental build.
Works absolute flaless. No tweaking required.

Still have PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 in launch options. No idea if it is still needed.
Runs perfect!
it may be enjoyable if you avoid or skip all the cutscenes.
Game crashes in some cutscenes. It threw me back to the desktop.
Plays fine! I get 60 FPS and I did zero-tinkering. Only downside is the frequent crashes because the game didn't like alt-tabbing.
Runs great. Older hardware may experience low framerates
Ran very well with i5-3570k and GTX 970 for a good bit until I changed distros which performance tanked. Upgraded the GPU to 5700XT and the game runs extremely smooth.
Game ran out of the box, no disabling ESYNC needed. Mouse and controller (logitech f310) detected flawlessly.

Proton-5.2-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Proton-5.2-GE-2
24-30 fps on Operation Northern Cross (first mission) Mouse movement sluggish
FPS are locked for me at 30 and there were a few rare lags during cutscenes. Haven't noticed any significant issues.
Game is basically unplayable, with and without esync.

Works perfectly out of the box with expected performance.
I did disable esync.
Game runs out of the box. Controller works fine. Performance is not acceptable for me; between 21 and 29 fps according to Steam.
Performance ingame is unplayable. Menu and stuff are fine

I update my nvidia drivers and then the game worked. Before this would crash on open.
