seems to work better with dx11

PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 gamemoderun %command%
Running in Wayland currently prevents Shift+Tab
or the C
invite menu from opening. As far as I can tell this is currently an issue with all steam games running under wayland. (Issue not present through XWayland)
On my hardware running the game on DX12 gets me ~80 more fps on average compared to DX11. Also running the wayland launch option is not required. However it did gain me 10-15 fps on my hardware. XWayland is still absolutly playable, and is able to max out my refresh rate of 144hz but I will continue running the wayland launch option as I do not need to use the steam overlay and I expect it should give me a bit more headroom for potential performance dips.
Works out of the box, no tinkering necessary
Works perfectly out of the box.

Using Proton, the game runs just like it does on Windows. No issues with Bazzite or with Intel Arc B580 GPU.

Works perfectly out of the box
Multiplayer works without any issues

你不必担心任何事情,现在加上GE-Proton可以直接开箱即玩

Roda bem melhor doque no Windows
Raramente alcontece alguns estralos no audio.
Se precisar de mais FPS mude para o Proton-GE, porem a versão padrão do Proton ja roda o jogo perfeitamente.

Works fine just not smooth enough for me vs Windows sadly.
Stuttering and general lack of smoothness compared to windows experience
Generally okay, but not smooth

Flawless experience, as good as native.

Pretty much a tinker free experienece, one of those games where you could pick it up and spend hours playing.
Stutters and hitches, as to be expected with older hardware such as mine.

Works really good, but maybe my pc a bit too weak and I feel like slow frametime. Or Im crazy. Because numbers are saying the opposite. Highly recommend to turn on steam shader pre-caching (and allow background processing of vulkan shaders, if you dont want to wait for shader compiling before launching the game). And set directX 12, instead of 11.
Works perfectly
run flawless
Runs flawlessly

Game is perfectly playable and enjoyable without any tinkering, but if you want the smoothest framerates and cleanest experience, give the settings mentioned a shot and compare for yourself. Credit for these settings goes to previous reports from other users on this page. Thanks!

Works amazing right out the gate. spent probably ~3 hours today playing with a mate who is on windows, and worked flawlessly.

runs butter smooth even at ultra settings, only thing i have disabled is vsync

As long as no Proton version will be Buggy with this game. This will run perfectly.

Runs good
Run smooth without tinker
Overall excellent

Use ProtonGE for the best performance. Native / Proton works slightly worse than GE.

Input sensitivity is much lower and laggy when your FPS is much higher than the system refresh rate
Turn on system FreeSync, disable in-game vsync, set the in-game max FPS to match your monitor

Lief out of the box sehr schön

Works flawlessly for the most part :)
ONLY ONCE OR TWICE I've had a random bug occur midway through a mission where the FPS flatlines to a solid 10 FPS and doesn't go any lower or any higher. Though some other games have had this issue too, like Battlebit Remastered. This might be a general proton issue, idk.

Game does not start unless you disable shader pre-caching in Steam Settings > Downloads > Shader Pre-Caching
Game runs fine after disabling pre-caching. I use a version of proton specific to my OS, but it should work with latest proton as well.

Perferctly works out of a box

Changed GNOME's keyboard layout order (put English above all other layouts)
WASD is not working unless English layout is highest priority in GNOME
Runs exactly like Windows

I just set GE proton for everything. I'm sure regular proton works.
