Using Proton, the game runs just like it does on Windows. No issues with Bazzite or with Intel Arc B580 GPU. The native Linux version failed to launch a new game for Episode 2 and would crash the game.

Sometimes controller would only work in the menus, and not in the game.
Native Linux version has a different save file than the Windows version.
It either connects to server right away, or does not. After a match it's a guessing game to see if you will stay with your party or not.
