Controller didn't work in Proton 9.0, worked in Hotfix.
But for the game to work, you need to install it to Steam Library which is on your system drive. Also if you want controller to work, I recommend using Proton Hotfix since it didn't work in 9.0

Works out of the box
Had to move the game from my external SSD to my internal SSD otherwise it would not launch. (I've had this before so it could be my pc)

Perfect work out of the box
The game works perfectly out of the box. I installed a mod to add Russian localization, the game did not affect the work in any way. It works as the native version, no problem!

Sometimes the mouse would appear on screen while using the gamepad but It would go away. Has the same issue on windows anyways. Overall it plays fine.

Works fantastic out of the box
The only issue encountered is that the game doesn't detect the screen resolution correctly, so you have to set it manually in the settings, but after that it works great. Could be an issue on Windows as well.

Switch to Desktop Mode
I played in Gaming Mode for several hours and didn't unlock any achievements that should've been unlocked. Switched to Desktop Mode and started over, achievements started unlocking as expected.
game works perfectly

Made it all the way to chapter 3 with 0 bugs the game runs at over 300 FPS

Set TDP to 4W
Syncing saves works too

Runs great with Proton.
On a few occasions the game would freeze up completely, and one time I had to restart my PC. I'm not sure if it's Proton related.

No issues at all, stable 60fps all the time
gamescope -w 3840 -h 2160 -W 1920 -H 1080 -f -- gamemoderun %command%

4W
if you do not own the DLC you will need to disable wifi to get to the main menu. otherwise, smooth sailing
Strange thin lines around characters a handful of times
60fps with no dips Was able to play from start to finish Had some thin lines around characters at times but it happens rarely and was easy to avoid
Capped FPS to 30
No issues at all. Loaded a previous cloud save from my pc and finished the game without any problems.
disabling wifi after game launch but before pressing start bypasses that issue. once I am loaded into my save i can re enable wifi. this does not occur on my regular linux desktop
Working Perfect
Runs perfect, no issues at all
Perfect.
Game occasionally lagged for a second randomly
Default Steam Game Mode
Limited frame rate to 40 fps.
Everythig worked fine out of the box, I only limited frame rate to 40 fps to help with battery life (I can't tell the difference between 30 and 60 fps, so 60 fps doesn't matter to me and 40 fps seems to be the sweet spot for most SD games).
Note: I did have an issue that when the title screen loaded and stated to press any button, if you just pressed any button (on xbox controller or SD controls), I wouldn't be able to use the analog sticks on either during actual gameplay. The fix was to just flick the thumbstick at that splash screen, and it would flash and recognize the controller as the default input method. Weird, but worked.
no problems on steam deck
gamemoderun %command%
Worked Great overall
Drops to as low as 12 FPS occured but were brief and majority of the game was 60 FPS
WINEDLLOVERRIDES=dinput8=b,n %command%
Changed dinput8 to a spoofing dinput8.dll from https://sites.google.com/site/tocaedit/files / dinput8-x360cev21.zip
I play with DualShock 4 controller, so I had to apply some twinkering in order for the game to recognize it. Without it, all good with playing on mouse/keyboard. Or with an Xbox controller, I suppose. So other reports say, I don't own one
After a cutscene the game didn't proceed. I was left on the cutscene's screen. Fixed after I loaded my previous save.
Plays well, no major problems

Works good. Sometimes motions freezes for couple seconds (no critical).
Played with Proton 6.3-8
Works on Proton Experimental.
Hiccups and occasional jerky motion even though Steam's FPS counter shows a consistent 143-144.

Didn't work. At all.
Didn't try on my main rig, so the specs are actually those of an MSI Creator 15 (RTX 2070 + Core i7 32Gb) running Arch Linux. And, I am willing to say that it might have been a driver issue.
Tried every version of mainline proton through steam, including experimental. Also tried Proton-Ge 15 through 20. No dice. Was meant to play the game with family, so I refunded it and unfortunately cannot test it on my main machine now.
