seems some music is still missing
the game seems playable now at least. though missing some music still.

Crashing during loading level 2, everytime. It's unplayable for now.

No music.
Crackling during FMVs, no music during the game.

Recent versions of experimental seem to have fixed the extended loading times. Music is annoyingly still missing.
Music is completely missing.
I feel like the Silver rating granted at the time the review was made is too high, since the game is still missing music. Only when the music is able to play correctly, do I think a silver or higher rating is warranted.

all music is missing, intros are crackly, cutscenes run faster than the audio and subtitles
crashes during the transition to level 2 consistantly
the latest proton experimental did remove the 10 minute load times thankfully

Not working properly
No audio when in gameplay
Painfully slow loading times
If you manage to install xna40 the loading times will be fast, but still no audio and cutscenes
Sound effects load in but the music doesn't
Load times were around 10 or so minutes give or take
Though the load times are still long and the music dosen't load I'd argue it doesn't detract from the experience, the game still runs, maintains a constant 60, and there's no visual glitches in sight.
Le jeu se lance mais lors du chargement de la partie, celui ci n'avance pas (ou demande 1h30 de loading time).
J'aurais tant aimé le finir sur le Steam deck, dommage :-(

Load times are unacceptable.
No music during gameplay, and cutscene audio is atrocious.
Alt+tabbing aout of the game causes it to crash after a few seconds.
TEN MINUTES just to load the first level, can't even imagine how long it would take to play this from start to finish with load times that slow.

Extremely long load times
Loading screens take 10 minutes.
It is playable and works BUT the loading screens are worse than Sonic 2006 levels. It could take over 10 minutes to load into the game.

The game is playable with Proton 7.0
The game takes A LOT to load, really, it could take like 10~20 minutes to load a level
Installed dotnet40. Could not get it to install in latest proton.
The loading screens last a lifetime

protontricks 205230 dotnet40
dotnet40
Per others suggestions, I installed dotnet40 through winetricks before running the game for the first time. Previously I had tried after trying to launch and had issues. 1 hour in so far without a hitch.
Install through steam, WINEPREFIX=Game winetricks dotnet40, play game
protontricks 205230 dotnet40
Once dotnet40 was installed it all worked great.
Nothing happens on startup

had to run on the console the following command:
WINEPREFIX=/path-to-ypur-folder/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/205230/pfx/ winetricks dotnet40
^check which is YOUR actual folder and place the directory path. This will intall dotnet40, as reported by previews users in the comment, it will make the game working
*P.S.: before launching i did a restart to Steam (it had some updates anyway)
button 'RT' has two actions mapped by default and i cannot remap it (attempts to remap leads to an error saying i cannot remap this button...)
the game uses auto-save. at the first two succesfull launches, after closing the game it was syncing endlessly on steam and I had to cancel syncing. However in my third succesful launch it closed and synced properly, and the save was succesful (relaunched and checked)
Before launching there was a pop-up named "rundll32.exe - NET Framework" saying: "Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application"
This showed up twice and i left it be. After this the game launched properly. Hovewer this didn't appear at all the second time i launched the game
Did install dotnet40 with winetricks, still not working.
Game works fine after installation of dotnet40. The first run of the game reported some errors but after that everything was fine.
WINEPREFIX=~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/205230/pfx/ winetricks dotnet40
Game works fine after installation of dotnet40. The first run of the game reported some errors but after that everything was fine. If dotnet40 was installable automatically by Steam for that game things would probably be easier and working out of the box.

Game runs perfectly after running WINEPREFIX=~/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/205230/pfx/ winetricks dotnet40

Does not start

Does not start

Does NOT work out of the box; other say you need to install dotnet40 via protontricks or winetricks; but unfortunately it may not be so easy, because in my case the installation stopped saying another .net version was already installed, and probably is the wine mono implementation of .net. What you have to do is to uninstall it first:
export WINEPREFIX=/what/is/your/path/to/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/205230/pfx/ wine uninstaller (uninstall mono) winetricks dotnet40
...then it works good.

Doesn't start.

After installing dotnet40 in protontricks I was able to play the game all the way to the end without any issue

You have to install dotnet40 either via protontricks or winetricks, runs perfectly after that

NET 4.0 problem for me too

Try to install .NET 4.0 and fail

If you install dotnet40 via winetricks, it will play as native game.

Installing Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework endlessly. Won't progress, won't launch at all.

Fails trying to install .NET 4.0, refuses to launch without it
