Works good out of the box
If you start the game and alt+tab before it has finished loading, the graphics bug until you continue your save.

Game runs at a perfect 60 FPS at all times no graphical degredations no audio issues no saving issues it deserves it's verified status.

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
on bspwm, if the window ever gets out of focus it will remain black. switched to windowed.
the escaping fullscreen window remained black
Works fine
Game will not start. Opens a small white window and then closes. Tried multiple versions of Proton. No dice.
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
Works perfectly OOTB
Ran great no problem. I think I was running it at 40fps but I just checked and it doesn't really change the battery life.
Great game and ran flawlessly, on a 32:9 aspect ratio as well!
Immediate crash on startup
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
Probably a video driver issue. When using the default X.org drivers the game launched but ran so slow it was unplayable. Switched to proprietary Nvidiia drivers, game now throws an error message on startup.

Game runs as good as a native one. Two crashes over 7h. No lag to be found.
The game crashed once or twice over the whole playthrough (~7h)
Report#2 Made new steamapps dir, validated proton and it run almost without issues.
Works perfectly fine for me

6.26-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/tag/6.16-GE-1
Have seen some artifacts when using screen shake and falling fast, then hitting the ground. This is most likely not proton's fault tho.
The game is very fun, but the crashes happen quite often. One time I lost a little bit of progress.
Some artifacts when falling really fast using medium screen shake
I have played for 84 minutes and the game has crashed 3 times. This happened on both Proton-6.16-ge-1 and proton 6.3-7
Ran straight out of the box. Alt Tabbed, switched windows between screens... everything works.
Ran perfectly out of the box. No tweaks. 5+ hours later and no crashes.

Have to play in windowed mode, but thats not too bad
If fullscreen, when I alt tab back into the game the screen is white and I have to forcefully close the game

Starts with "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%".
Game has lagging making it unplayable probably due to my older NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460.

Just bought this game. Can't even start it. :(
Tried 6.16 GE, Experimental, 6.3-6, 5.13-6, 5.0-10, 4.2-9.

Works OOTB, crackly audio
Audio crackles badly. Can be fixed by changing PulseAudio settings. This does affect your system configuration, but shouldn't have any ill effect and is simple enough to reverse. Instructions are in section 4.3 here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PulseAudio/Troubleshooting
doesnt launch
Crash every few minutes (4 crash in the span of 15min) without error message.
Works perfectly, played from start to finish and didn't experience any issues.
Slowdown was likely from other processes I was running, it only lasted about a minute
Game crashes after about 15 seconds
Worked out of the box! Hit install, play it, not a single issue!
Disabling esync stops the game crashing every 34 minutes (with ulimit -Hn
524288)
The usual issues: game resists attempts to switch away, but changing workspace works.
crashed twice in two hours, autosave was good though
Occasionally crashes, but works fine otherwise
The game resists attempts to switch window away from it, though switching to a different workspace still works fine (as usual).
The game crashed after just over half an hour with eventfd: Too many open files
. ulimit -Hn
shows 524288, which is potentially a little low (the upstream esync recommended value is 1048576, twice that); disabling esync or increasing the fd limit might help.
