Fullscreen mode is broken, but otherwise works perfectly, netplay included.
Enabling fullscreen instantly freezes the game.
In some quests during multiplayer, framerate dipped to around 50FPS temporarily. Nothing major.
Works mostly without issues. Fullscreen is broken and the intro cutscene unlocked after finishing the main story does not play properly.
Minor audio crackling is noticeable every now and then.
.Enabling fullscreen mode freezes the game. People have reported issues with enabling it on Windows as well, and while developers have tried addressing this, the issue persists. Not sure if related to Proton or a bug in the game itself.
The framerate sometimes dips below 60 during netplay. Very occasionally there are major slowdowns as well. This is possibly related to the game's netcode and nothing to do with Proton though.
After finishing the main storyline, the game starts showing an intro cutscene on launch. This intro usually freezes at some point if you let it play, but skipping it is still possible and moves you into the main menu.
Occasionally the game process hangs after exiting, requiring you to manually kill the process.
Completely playable with minor issues.
A prerendered cutscene during the prologue (the discussion with lady Kamuhitsuki) doesn't play properly, audio works but the game only displays a blue gradient. Also, the monitor refresh rate is detected incorrectly and the game only offers 30FPS and 1FPS (Monitor) -options for framerate. This can be circumvented by enabling vsync in the game settings, which will make it ignore this setting.
Played the game from start to the end of the story, there's some post-game content that wasn't tested. Only Proton-specific issues were the aforementioned prologue cutscene and incorrect framerate detection, encountered a few crashes during transitions between scenes but this seems to happen on Windows as well. Some frame pacing issues when the game dropped below 60FPS during farming, making it stutter a lot more than it should have. Can't say if it's an issue with Proton or the game itself. The sidescroller platforming/combat sections worked flawlessly with no FPS drops.
Runs fine, shader caching issues required occasional manual deletion of files.
HDR rendering with shader model 3.0 is broken, resulting in an extremely dark screen. After disabling it there were no other graphical issues.
A few times, the game started instantly crashing on every subsequent startup. It seems to be a shader caching issue, as deleting the cache folder ( [Steam Library]/steamapps/shadercache/13570 ) fixed it. I also had one mid-game crash and two crashes with alt+tabbing over the course of 20 hours of play.
The only way to skip cutscenes was to alt+tab out of the game and back in.
Played from start to finish. Except for the aforementioned shader cache issue and being unable to skip cutscenes normally, the game worked perfectly.
