btd can still feel laggy, but that has always been the case and is not related to proton

Works perfectly
Works perfectly out of the box. Installing flash through the startup screen worked for me. I didn't have to download anything to get it working.

Downloaded the flash installer from an external link
Some lag in later contested territory rounds, but this isn't a Linux issue

This used to be borked, but now it is absolutely fine.

The games seem to run flawlessly, until the client crashes every time after one minute or so.
Resizing window seems to crash the electron client
The electron client is constantly crashing for me after running for about a minute.

The built in flash player downloader doesn't work so you have to manually download it yourself from here

Like the other comments say, you cant download flash player installer using the launcher. You need to download the installer manually and choose the file in the launcher when it asks for it

took time to install flash but when i got it running everything was fine. also i installed glenn m's servers and it worked fine
It wont inststall flash player instead you either have to move the flash player dll into the game files or install flash player installer and select it in the launcher which is difficult but after some time i managed to get it running after that it works
when i clicked fullscreen it overlaped with the taskbar so a part of the game wasnt shown but you can just resize it to fullscreen and it will work
with glenn's servers it took time to install them but then it worked with no problems

Game doesn't run OOB requires you to manually download flash
This link has a flash link from the web archive. Download and select it manually in the launcher.

Use regular Windows version instead
Don't bother with the Steam version, just download the separate Windows exe from Ninja Kiwis site instead. That one runs just fine with regular wine.
Doesn't run without flash (found here: https://web.archive.org/web/20210000000000id_/https://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_ppapi.exe). In the app you have to select it manually through the file select. Once booted, works fine for all games I've tested.

It is unable to download the flash-player
1gb/s downloadspeed should allow it to download the flash player within the 15mins i gave it
I used Lutris to install the falsh player under the steam prefix which can be downloaded here: https://web.archive.org/web/20210000000000id_/https://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_ppapi.exe and I set the prefix to /SteamLibrary/steamapps/compdata/1275350/pfx and then launched the installer through a custom wine and installed it like normal.
It won't work unless flash is installed, and a custom proton is being used.
Follow the steps use lutris to install the flash player to the steam prefix for the game then use custom proton to initally start up the game.
The games in here are old, but mostly enjoyable despite their age and not having any nostalgia for them.
PROTON_LOG=1 %command%
I noticed that In Bloons Supermonkey, it had somewhat significant performance issues later in the game. I do not know if this is normal or not, howeever.
I can't play Bloons Monkey City in this, even after logging in. Clicking "Log In" has caused the program to display "Logging you out..." each time.
Without the launch option, it doesn't work.
PROTON_LOG=1 %command%
sometimes the game window would keep resizing/moving after releasing left mouse
the archive will not launch at all without PROTON_LOG=1
enabled (i dont know why but it just magically fixes it)
you need to manually download the flash installer to use the archive. https://web.archive.org/web/20210000000000id_/https://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_ppapi.exe
when prompted to install flash in the archive, click browse and navigate to the installer you just downloaded.
get stuck on downloading flash
PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
PROTON_LOG=1 %command%
Trying to boot up bloons TD5 takes awhile, likely due to it downloading it at that moment
Definitely grab the flash archive (https://web.archive.org/web/20210000000000id_/https://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_ppapi.exe) because it needs it and will ask for it to run. Had to use the proton logging command to even boot the game, but once that and flash are installed, you're golden. Expect a bit of queue time when booting larger games if your network isn't super fast.
Downloading a custom version of flash is required to play the game.
This is not a tinker report, because the same workaround is needed on Windows
When prompted to install Flash player, click Browse and select this file from archive.org of adobe.com. Then everything worked as expected.

Works in Proton 7 without symlinks. I just manually picked the chrome/windows flash installer from the FlashPatcher github and it worked.
Doesn't run
installed but did not run
Follow the other report below to create a Symlink which installs flash properly.
Fullscreen ignores the taskbar.

Just download flash player and go from there!
To successfully get the game running....download the flash player from report mentioned below...and for me, all I did was install it with wine windows program loader. Then I opened the game and selected "choose my own player" which was the setup file for flash player that just downloaded and it worked from the get-go. I use Arch btw.
Grab the download from reporter below.

A pain to install, but seems to generally work fine once you get flash installed. Haven't tested all games, though.
Manual tricks required to get flash to install.
- Download from here (link from FlashPatcher repo)
- Launch game and follow prompts to install flash. Select the option to use your own installer, and select the installer you just downloaded. The install will fail with "Module not found."
- Cd into your wineprefix (probably in
$HOME/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1275350/pfx
) and symlinkdrive_c/windows/syswow64/Macromed
todrive_c/windows/system32/Macromed
(you probably have to use an absoulte symlink) - Redo the install; it should succeed this time and get you to the main page.
Crashed after playing Bloons TD3 for about an hour

Could not install flash player
Built in option to download flash player does not work. Tried using this tutorial to download and install flash player. After setting the app compatability to Windows 7 (by running winecfg through proton directly) I was able to go through the flash player installer, but it popped out an error "Module not found." and the game still doesn't let me past the "install flash player" menu.
Flash player doesn't install

Does not launch
It doesn't even open a window...

Borked
Can't get past the flash screen.

Borked
Does not work even using Proton-6.20-GE-1

I press play. It stops soon after.
Game hangs on Flash install

Stuck at downloading Flash player
add command :" PROTON_LOG=1 %command% " to open the app

unable to boot
attempted various environment variables but to no avail
