I just default to experimental, pretty sure it'd work just fine on normal settings too
Runs great. I've had slowdown on my laptop, but that's been due to graphical limitations.
Runs right out of the box. Will make you go through the custom launcher though.
PS3 controller so mismapping was expected. Still a pain though.
I'm guessing translating DX is limiting the performance, either that or it's limiting cores in some way. Either way, if I'm playing gotta keep everything else closed.
Just make sure you've got enough horsepower, then should work fine.
Runs great. If it's not, be careful of your mods.
Arcade works fine. I'd assume multiplayer is fine too since it dectected my ps3 controller?...
After the stage select there's a big black line and a pause when the game loads on the level select screen
Main screen slows doooooown but the game itself is fine
Switch to [Proton 4.11-13] via the steam menu and works great
PROTON_LOG=1 %command%
Trying to boot up bloons TD5 takes awhile, likely due to it downloading it at that moment
Definitely grab the flash archive (https://web.archive.org/web/20210000000000id_/https://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_ppapi.exe) because it needs it and will ask for it to run. Had to use the proton logging command to even boot the game, but once that and flash are installed, you're golden. Expect a bit of queue time when booting larger games if your network isn't super fast.
Runs just fine. Any bugs I experienced are also present in the windows version.
Current proton crashes the game. Reverting to proton 7.0.6 did the trick for me.
1st Run Fine. 2nd Run no Dice
Game ran OOTB for the first run. Tried all the troubleshooting methods I had after it didn't boot again to no avail. Will get past the splash but the game seems to freeze on boot (dim logo in the background, looks like it froze on playback, can't skip past it to menu)
Says it's running, but no window
Whether it's native or default proton, just won't boot on my system. Tried unplugging controllers before booting the game, still no dice
Nvm. Works fine
Looks like my comp was buggering up some drivers. Fixed up the problems and it works flawlessly
Runs the startup movies, but won't make it to the main menu OTB.
Tried forced experimental and a couple of other versions but no dice. 1070 issue maybe?
PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 %command%
Will have to test with the 1070 laptop, but works great after FSync is disabled on the desktop in singleplayer. Internet is currently trash so didn't attempt multiplayer.
