It's working pretty well for me, i have the Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime installed (from steam) not sure if it helps tho.

Game starts but kicks me at characters with EAC offline error
I've tried different proton versions, installed glibc-eac but none worked.
I tried version 2.39 of glibc-eac which got rid of the EAC offline error, but I still get a "Cannot connect to server" error in character select.
If anyone has a solution for this, please contact me on steam

-notexturestreaming
-notexturesteaming works but the method of clicking on settings in the server select, then setting the screen to a different mode, apply, then cancel to skip the long wait time is slower than on windows. I need about 4:30 mins to get ingame, on Windows its about 30 secs faster deleting F3HGM8N1Q7X8GHG31BTFXEF.English.ipk to skip the intro video also works

they enable linux support on EAC

A smidge too small. Can read it but barely.
EAC seems to have had Linux support turned on.

Game is running really well now that they've enabled EAC on Linux. I'm really happy they finally allowed it. Runs really well.
gamemoderun %command%
Thank you for bringing this game to Linux!!! It runs as it would on windows and I'm really enjoying it.

gamemoderun %command%
using mount point for ntfs drive
as july 2025, its can played

I heard it worked, installed it and clicked play. It just worked.

The game runs now runs well on the Steam Deck and is pretty fun to play. The global status on ProtonDB should probably be updated

Game worked fine out of the box. Mentioned launch options (mostly -notexturestreaming) are nice to reduce loading times between zones.
gamemoderun %command% -notexturestreaming -novsync -useallavailablecores
They finally enabled Linux compatibility in EAC (again). Let's hope they don't decide to disable it again as they did a few months ago, where the game was already running on linux for about 6 hours. Apparently, looking at reports, it's enabled for at least a week now.

gamemoderun %command%
Surprisingly it seems that it does work on linux, I thought they would never fix, but they have fixed it.
It's been a while since I've used windows, so I can't make an objective performance comparison, but I can assure you it works fine on my hardware.

gamemoderun %command%
Given previous EAC issues it isn't clear if it will keep working, but at least as of right now you can play with proton experimental

Steam overlay doesn't work with Proton 9.0.

Assuming you don't encounter any of the problems logging into a character can produce sometimes, your experience will be perfectly fine.
gamemoderun %command%
Logging into a character can sometimes crash the game.
Game uses an extraordinary amount of RAM, far more than what I remember it using on windows 10. Low amount is 7G to upwards of 16G for some reason. All this is on high settings.
I am very surprised the game works on linux. screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/EoPYEuc.png

EAC Support not enabled
Amazon Games still refuses to enable Linux support for this game on the EAC side resulting in: Cannot connect to the server. Exiting the game. [EAC Offline - Anti-cheat client protection not active (NullClient)]

EAC as per usual
gamemoderun %command%
"Cannot connect to the server. Exiting the game. [EAC Offline - Anti-cheat client protection not active(NullClient)]"
Why do I even want to play this game? What is wrong with me? Definitely never going to install windows again. Maybe I'll check again in a month. :(

Complains about Easy Anti Cheat missing. Installing the Proton EAC runtime doesn't help.
The Lost Ark devs don't care to make it work with EAC on Linux, it seems.

Doesn't even start anymore. As soon as I start the game, it immediatley stops.

After a couple seconds it says, that it can't connect to the server.
Borked

Can install, can start, cannot play as of 26.10.2024
I read recent reviews that the game was working on linux for some time but it got broken again. There is a known EAC bug since 10.10.2024 and the game is starting but I am getting kicked out due to EAC Offline. Tried different proton versions but was not successful.

Still borked
The game starts without any problems, but when you select your character, it gives you the error "EAC offline - Anti cheat client protection not active (NullClient)"

Game boots, but kicked due to EAC issue
You can install the game and boot it up. However, when you go to create a character, you'll get an error mentioning that EAC is offline. The game kicks itself and you're back at your Steam games menu. Real odd considering other EAC games like Apex and Elden Ring run perfect. Hoping the devs look into this.

EAC is not enabled for this game, Idk why other users clame it was
gamescope -W 2560 -H 1080 -r 75 -f -- %command%
Even with EAC runtime installed, with both proton experimental and proton GE you CAN open initial menu (maybe this is why other misleading reports that this game is working) but once you try to select your char to play you will fail to connect the servers because EAC. Game is still completely borked.

Tried different versions of Proton, installed Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime.
After selecting a server, on character creation, game throws an error, "Can not connect to server. Exiting the game. Eac offline." https://imgur.com/a/FFSTtB8
EAC Linux support is disabled in Lost Ark. Recently, it was possibly enabled by default when they updated EAC. It is now off again.
game-performance mangohud %command%
When loading EAC(EasyAntiCheat), a request is made to
https:// modules-cdn.eac-prod.on.epicgames.com/modules/{productid}/{deploymentid}/{win64 or linux64}
For Lost Ark this would be:
You can see for yourself it gets denied
However, checking Throne and Liberty for example(which runs on Linux):
You can see that it works and it opens a download dialog
The log result is
[Windows] [EAC Launcher] [Warn] Could not reach the Easy Anti-Cheat CDN, launching with null client, result code: 506.
In-game this results in an error popup around a minute after selecting a server which will close the game:
"Cannot connect to the server. Exiting the game. [EAC Offline - Anti-cheat client protection not active (NullClient)]

Just set your wine version to latest proton ge version and u should be fine, dont forget the eac proton
EAC Offline - anti-cheat client protection not active

Seems the anticheat isn't working again but it is possible it could be related to a bug
Amazon said they're looking into issues with eac because some users are also claiming they're facing issues on windows devices.

Text was very small by default
The game's EAC was updated and steamdeck is now compatible

gamemoderun %command%
Feels like there are some more lagframes than on windows. But otherwise plays at ~100 FPS (capped ingame)
They finally enabled linux compatibility in EAC.
Had to tinker because steam still considers the game as "unplayable on linux" due to anti cheat. As soon as this is updated the game should be install-and-play without real tinkering needed.
I use gamemoderun mostly only for cpu governor switching from powersave to performance. Game also runs with Proton-9.0 instead of experimental.

Easy anti-cheat 106 error as usual
PROTON_USE_EAC_LINUX=1 %command%
devs dont care about linux as EAC is literally a toggle to enable linux support

Cuando el juego inicia y sale la imagen del juego cargando, se crashea arrojando el error 106
Roto, Error 106 aun persiste

I feel like i tried everything in my book and nothign worked
winetricks corefonts vcrun2019 dxvk d3dx9 d3dcompiler_47 shell32
i tired everything i could think off and nothing woked i still get the Erorr 106 no matter what
