It worked perfect after install using proton GE, the launch options are just to get better performance.

The textures take some time to charge at start but it's nothing to worry about.
For me it was just install and play, if you want better performance use the same launch options.
It runs perfect but if i play in windowed mode the game starts to going bad with a lot of lag

It works perfectly in full screen and fixed windowed (with the same resolution as the screen) but if i change the resolution or use the windowed mode the game doesn't get the right position of the mouse.

CCP did a update to the launcher so now the launcher will save the credentials using a kernel function of windows, the community made a patch in wine to get these functions to work so using the newer versions of wine there is no problem anymore. But we have for steam to update the wine version of proton to get the game to work again without using ProtonGE.
It used to have a problem when you close it where a unity error window would open but it stoped happening.
There's a problem with the abilitys showcase videos but it's the same on windows so it's not a proton problem
You can fix the launcher problems by using XIVlauncher, it also let's you install addons with dalamud.
Its really esay to install and play, not launch option or anything just install and play.
The game have problems of optimization on windows so this is not a problem
Add the launch option "PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%" and execute the "sudo vulkaninfo" command on the terminal.
Im not sure but it feels like if the full screen game had less fps than the windowed game.
If the character didnt show up just add the launch option "PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%" and write the command "sudo vulkaninfo" on the terminal, then the game will works perfectly.
