4 hours overallEncountered some graphical issues on Native. After switching to Proton everything works fawlessly
Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton9-24
Native had some issues with fullscreening and keeping the game at a proper resolution, using Proton resolved the issues. Controller worked without an issue with Steam Input enabled and I have experienced no performance issues or stutters.

3 hours overallSolo flawless + great perf., local coop might break a little depending on the controlers used (and maybe the linux distribution and drivers)
Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental
Input:Controller Mapping, Other
When playing coop (2 xbox one controlers) and not activating steam input translation leads to inputs breaking ingame
► Multiplayer
Overall (local):Good
2 Xbox one controlers on local coop only worked when activating steam input translation
Solo flawless + great performance as if run under windows. Local coop might break a little depending on the controlers used (and maybe the linux distribution and drivers)

I would use the native version, however proton runs it extremely well. I couldn't feel a difference.
