Run DirectX11 version

Black screen cutscenes
Changing to Wine-GE fixed the cutscene issues
Works as intended OOTB
Flawless.

Ran fine OOTB.
Ran fine on my Linux machine, DLSS works as good as windows, no slowdown. RTX very taxing as a level progresses.
Runs without any problems

PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%
Very fun game that runs amazingly well, even better compared to my Windows install. Do use the tinker command to enable raytracing for DX12 mode.

Tried various version, had quick crashes multiples times, then switched to experimental and it worked fine until the end of the game.

Works fine out of the box
Didn't need to tinker or change anything to get it to work. It might ask you to install a runtime, but all you have to do is click "Next" until it finishes.

Game is killed by the OS because of the memory leak
Memory leak

cutscenes are a bit fucky but that's ok
The game does not launch after selecting a launch option

Cutscenes don't play

Launched Epic version of the game via Heroic Games Launcher. In order to have all cutscenes working, choose Wine-GE-Proton instead of Proton-GE (on Proton-GE game works but instead of cutscenes there is a black screen). As of today, I used Wine-GE-Proton7-43.
No need to modify the launch settings. Works out of the box

Cutscenes show a black screen (e.g. when beginning the campaign) but can be skipped with start button and "skip"
Installed with Heroic, played as non-Steam app

Slight stutters on the first 5 minutes of gameplay
Didn't manage to run it correctly on Heroic with Wine, but worked flawlessly when changing to Proton Experimental.
Runs great
No issues running even when the gameplay is hectic. Runs just as well as on windows.

All good
had some input lag with vsync in the demo, but in the full version it's fine
PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%
PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=0 PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%
40hz with 6 TDP gets solid 40fps.
Make sure you mess with the deck control sensitivity, stick response rates, and dead zone to your liking. Also mess with the in game sensitivity, and acceleration options to your liking as well.
A fantastic game with some iffy performance
I ran into some dropped frames when there's a lot of destruction going on, particularly with the flamethrower and the fire effect. While I had no crashes, your mileage may vary. Also some occasional stutter but is otherwise very playable and incredibly fun.
Just Works
Severed Steel, 95% playable on Linux (exception being cutscenes), but still very playable!
With VSync enabled, the mouse would have noticeable latency in the main menu, had to disable that.
It's very likely it's only a me issue, but running Severed Steel on i3 and X11 seems to give it a lower framerate than it should, even with picom disabled. The FPS counter was still showing above 50-60 FPS though.
Cutscenes seem completely dead on Linux. I can only see the color testing "no signal" image screen thing.
no option to turn on RTX/DLSS, although I think it's just DXVK just not supporting it. plus, I'm on an AMD GPU (although other reports seem to also not have that option)
the window/process name is "ThankYouVeryCool", ha :^)
Found no issues

40 fps limit
Couldn't load even into the menu in some versions of proton. Experimental loaded menus but nothing beyond that
Game runs at pretty stable 144 fps. However, no matter what I tried I couldn't get ray tracing or DLSS to work.

Proton Experimental did not work - I expect this to get an unsupported rating for steam deck. That said, works perfectly with GE.
All cutscenes were replaced with a color test screen. Skipping was still possible, and gameplay was unaffected. Cutscenes are minimal anyway, so my experience was not heavily impacted.
Borderline perfect experience aside from cutscene loading issues.
As others reported, the initial cutscene has something about it that causes the game to slow down to a crawl, sub 5 fps. Other cutscenes either don't load at all or play as expected.
Gameplay itself was perfect.
I've also tried running GE since that tends to play better with cutscene files however it didn't run as well for me while playing.
Amazing out of box experience once past the first cinematic
First cinematic had extreme slowness and stuttering. Once past that, the experience is flawless.
Works in both DX12 and DX11, no problems
DLSS and RTX do not seem to work currently

Runs without any issues whatsoever, highly addictive!
Only in the opening cutscene, everything else was perfectly fine
Everything except the cutscene which can be skipped works flawlessly
Only in the starting cutscene which can be skipped
Cutscene has distorted sound and is a lot slower
Fun and playable experience, mileage may vary
Some issues surrounding Alt+Tabbing and occasional crashes
Not very frequent but the game does crash sometimes when interacting with the UI
