Very performant even on my older GPU

WM: Hyprland Even through the I have enable fullscreen in settings the game starts in windowed mode, however I can just fullscreen it manualy with a keyboard shortcut. :D Olther than that it there's no issues.
I did also try modding (moddel swaps) and althrough none of the modmanaging tools (3rd party software) works you can just do it manually.
Also pretty sure some Windows users had some issues with modding the EGS version.

I wasn't able to get this game to work before on NixOS for some reason, but seems to have fixed itself randomly seemingly. Works great
gamemoderun mangohud %command%
Works great, might have installed something wrong before

289ms delay on a local wifi connection. Tried three different players with similar results
reccomend attempting only with local play. I am unsure if it is an issue with Heroic launcher or the Steam Deck OLED, Online is unplayable for me. i used Wine GE Proton 7-27 and was able to consistently got the game to play with Heroic launcher via Epic Games with overlay on.

The game requires EOS overlay to be enabled to work with Heroic, If not enabled you will get a black screen.

Black screen at launch. Stuck.
Comes from Epic Store.
- Opens a tab in firefox to connect to Epic Online Services.
- Black screen. Doesn't crash. Mouse cursor on screen.
- If click, then cursor disappears.
- Can ALT+F4 to exit. Nothing else seems to respond.
Also tested with Proton GE 8.25 for the same result.

Use an external keyboard when making a nickname the onboard does not work.
Default proton experimental does not work the game doesnt load the cutscenes resulting in a black screen. Use GE Proton 7-20 and it works flawlessly with a minor problem on first setup when entering a name on-screen keyboard works but you cant confirm it only by using an external keyboard wll work.

Shows a black screen, then a spinning gear that says "loading", then it goes away just leaving the black screen
Runs out of box without issues on 7.0-5
Runs out of box without issues on 7.0-5

Perfect using Proton 7.0-5 flatpak community build.

Again, fixing the playback crashing in movelist would make the experience perfect.
Viewing movelist crashes game
Viewing movelist crashes the game entirely
gg ez

perfect

Runs perfectly on Deck, need to restart the game or an external keyboard on first launch.
Impossible to confirm anything with the onscreen keyboard.
As implied by another Steam Deck report, on first launch, the game will prompt you to enter your player name while creating your save. The onscreen keyboard can be called but will be randomly dismiss by the Steam Deck navigator menu. Plus, it will be impossible to confirm the player name as pressing "Enter" on the keyboard doesn't do anything. The game is then stuck.
Two easy solutions:
You can use an external keyboard as said by other report.
If you don't have an external keyboard, you can also close to game, then relaunch it. On next launch, the game won't ask you to chose your player name. Instead, you will get the default player name "Adventurer". You can change it in the settings (but will still need an external keyboard as onscreen keyboard won't work again if you try to change it - this doesn't work whether Proton versions used, even GE).
Game works great and everything runs fine (even videos), default setting are Ultra + 1080p so can be change on 720p.
Game would hang sometimes when playing Arcade Mode while waiting for a ranked match - audio would continue playing, but video output would freeze and input would not register. Need to manually kill the process
See 'Instability'
Matching Making in Training mode crashes the game not sure if its a game bug or proton bug
CPU Pegs 1 core to 100% when log on to online mode until you reset the game
Unlike Online Mode playing it locally had no performance Issues
Not sure if its a bug but going online pegs 1 of the cores (on the steam deck 2) so if you see any dropped frames that that might be the cause
If running with default Proton releases from steam, videos do not load, including cutscenes and command list videos. I also experienced frequent crashes when quickly scrolling through the command list. Switch to GE-Proton7-20 seems to fix these issues.

a lot of tearing
frequency crash while waiting ranked matches
frequency crash while waiting ranked matches
Game runs as expected
Online ranked worked perfectly
had to connect a keyboard to press enter on player name screen. able to open onscreen keyboard and type but not able to proceed without external keyboard
worked out of box, defaulted to ultra 1080p and ran at 60fps with a few drops on flashy moves (seemed to happen on windows box as well)
Game runs fine out of the box with minor issues that dont impact gameplay all that much. Cutscenes dont work correctly and avoidable crashes
Some cutscenes dont play and are instead replaced with a missing texture.
Entering an online match from training mode causes a crash.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Only on keyboard, but every Shift / Enter needed to be pressed twice to register. Couldn't reproduce on Steam Controller, or with any other keys.
The game can range from painfully sluggish to almost hitting 30 FPS, but not quite.
While waiting for a ranked match and going into anything that's not a Survival game, I sometimes crashed. I think this is a game bug though.
Because of the aforementioned FPS issues, multiplayer is painful for both myself and the person I'm playing with.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 is most definitely the INCORRECT launch option to use for it. However, if I try to run the game without it, I get "DX11 feature level 10.0 is required to run the engine". I'm uncertain why, from my searches, it seems like I'd need some Vulkan drivers or something, but I do have them.
If anyone has any idea, I hope they will post it somewhere in these reports.
works out of the box
None
No issue with player match or ranked matches. Seems to sometimes have trouble connecting to games but it only happened twice
Both players were able to use their Brook Universal board controllers with no issues
No issues running with no tinkering. Run run proton expirimental and game some fun learning fun new combos
Crashes when searching for a ranked match in training mode, could possibly be a bug with the game and not proton. Works fine when just searching from the menu.
