WM: Hyprland Even through the I have enable fullscreen in settings the game starts in windowed mode, however I can just fullscreen it manualy with a keyboard shortcut. :D Olther than that it there's no issues.
I did also try modding (moddel swaps) and althrough none of the modmanaging tools (3rd party software) works you can just do it manually.
Also pretty sure some Windows users had some issues with modding the EGS version.
Don't run it on proton versions above 5.0 if you want a good frame rate.
If there is no audio use the launch option: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="openal32=b" %command%
gamemoderun DRI_PRIME=1 %command%
Not sure haven't had a crash since I switched to GE
Just use Proton-GE
RADV_PERFTEST=rt AMD_VULKAN_ICD=RADV
The game was unplayable
The game is unplayable whith the opensource amd drivers and wont launch at all witch pro drivers.
Doesn't automatically fullscreen when I launch the game

Completely optinal
The default settings are fine but not great, and some of the setting can only be changed from the dev console.
Use "SDL_VIDEODRIVER=x11" if you get an error that says: "SDL_Init(SDL_INITVIDEO) failed: wayland not available"
The main problem is getting the game op and running after that its *mostly* the same issues as on windows
LD_PRELOAD=$LD_PRELOAD:/usr/lib/libtcmalloc_minimal.so VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/radeon_icd.i686.json AMD_VULKAN_ICD=RADV SDL_VIDEODRIVER=x11 env -u RADV_PERFTEST DRI_PRIME=1 %command% -high -threads 16
The game ran after i install the package: dev-util/google-perftools abi_x86_32 and added LD_PRELOAD=$LD_PRELOAD:/usr/lib/libtcmalloc_minimal.so to the launch options
Useflags (All of the may not be required) sys-libs/glibc stack-realign app-crypt/p11-kit -abi_x86_32 media-libs/libsdl2 abi_x86_32

I havent played that mouch on Gentoo however the game worked without issue on Arch after i fixed the librarry issue
The game requires the package dev-util/google-perftools[abi_x86_32] and the enviroment valuble LD_PRELOAD=$LD_PRELOAD:/usr/lib/libtcmalloc_minimal.so to run.
I needed to use a few workarounds to get the game running well, however said workarounds aren't requred when using a normal kernel...
$HOME/.local/bin/thcrap_proton -- gamemoderun mangohud DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 DRI_PRIME=1 %command%
Fix the game frezing on fullscreen i did this:
Open winecfg with the folowing command: $HOME/.local/bin/thcrap_proton -- gamemoderun mangohud DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 DRI_PRIME=1 %command% then enable wine virtual desktop
English translation (thcrap):
I use thcrap_proton
Fix the game running too fast:
Add: DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 to the launch options
The frezing on fullscreen doesn't happen on the default Gentoo kernel If the game didn't speedup then a normal gamer could enjoy the game if said gamer knows japanese. The speedup didn't happen before i enable wine virtual desktop.
The game launched to a black screen
I tryed a lot of things that didn't work
I also tryed on my second pc and it didn't work there either.
I had to go through a few hoops to get the game running, but once its up and running it works fine.
env -u DISPLAY gamemoderun DRI_PRIME=1 %command% /gldevice:Vulkan -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -high
Fixed by toggeling fullscreen at the WM level on the splash screen. (Super+F)
Just the game being poorly optimized. Probably would run better without graphics mods. Like the game is pretty choppy while underground.
The game sometimes crashes while loading mods. But olther than that it's pretty stable.
Friends can not connect via Steam, but works fine with connect via I.P. address.
The game won't launch without either setting the enviroment valuble: MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=zink
or the commandline argument: /gldevice:Vulkan
but i'd reccomend using /gldevice:Vulkan
because the it runs significantly better.
There is a good chance that you wont experience any preformence problems if you don't use any graphics mods.
