I did set all my graphical settings to low. I probably could have gotten away with picking and choosing to boost some aspects but did not bother. My settings had been set to high or ultra across the board because I loaded a save from my gaming PC. And so when I opened the save, the game stuttered a lot. So I just switched everything to low as quick as I could. Still looks good and has good ambiance. The aesthetic is a big part of this game. My headphones worked. I did not try a game controller, just mouse and keyboard. The resolution option for my Chromebook (1080p) worked fine.
runs flawless

Worked flawlessly

Had to force Proton 7.0-6 to be able to run the game properly.
try proton 8 with directx 12 version and only goes until menu
proton 8.0-1
try proton 8 with directx 12 version and only goes until menu
Was able to get into the main menu. Attempting to start a new game crashes Steam.
Prompts to install vcredist on first run, said yes and the game ran perfect
I recommend using the Direct X 12 version.

Basically flawless!
Sometimes the mouse warp would not work correctly, but pressing Super immediately fixed it.
gamemoderun %command%
Had to decrease the graphics a bit, but the game runs perfectly even with my laptop unplugged.
A pop-up asking to install C++ redistributables shows the first time but using the touch screen to accept and install it works fine and the game starts normally afterwards
Completed a full playthrough with no issues on the DX12 version of the game
After launching a Windows dialog presents prompting to install Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime and hangs.
Tried all available Proton versions under Compatibility with no success.
Presents a Windows prompt to install the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime. Requires a force-quit.
Tried all Proton versions under compatibility mode to enable the game to start and no dice.
Found no issues
Some crackling in busy areas.
Very infrequent over-input, probably as a result of lagging elsewhere.
Game hung at the first video call under Proton 7. Switching to Experimental got the game running past that point. Some minor graphical and sound slowdown (and controller over-sensitivity) in new, open areas, but otherwise quite playable.

New update breaks game
The game crashes after a few seconds without showing any window
Runs without issues.
Stuttering when moving about
Periods of stuttering when moving the camera.
Lack of alt-tab was really irritating early in the game because of the lack of save points. But once you reach the first save point, save points become plentiful and this is no longer a problem.
Press play and go!
flawless
crashed once in 90 minutes.
Works out of the box with default proton.
OOTB No issue
Works fine.
Finished the game with no problems
Works perfectly out of the box. Don't think I've encountered artifacts or audio bugs, although you never know with PK.
it just works out of the box with the performance I'd expect from my hardware
Stuttering when loading new areas. Probably the games fault.
