Proton Log shows error:
err:vkd3d-proton:vkd3d_wait_for_gpu_timeline_semaphore: Failed to wait for Vulkan timeline semaphore, vr -4
Initially it crashed my GPU driver, forcing KDE to restart. With the added launch options, the game freezes with the mentioned semaphore issue but setting a kernel parameter didn't resolve it.
Crashes my DE on starting a game, even on the latest Proton runtime.

Basically unplayable. Might be related to a driver issue.
Performance is subpar for my hardware and software configuration.
Starts at around 30 FPS which is already low but drops as low as 15 FPS making the whole game stuttery and unenjoyable.
I tried fiddling around with the culling settings to no avail. Proton GE also didn't bring any improvement.
Works well enough, issues are not specific to Linux
Can use Alt+Enter to switch to windowed as a workaround but behaves strangely.
Mouse is caught in window bounds even when tabbed out.
Plays great, probably as good as it gets.
I had some desyncs in MP every few rounds. I can't say if that's a Proton issue though.
The performance is much worse than on Windows or probably even the native version but that one keeps crashing out on me if I try to tab out.
I only got around 20 FPS.
You're better off running the native version.
I get a third of the performance of the native version
Playing in windowed mode on Dualscreen works pretty well but Fullscreen has issues.
Other than having to install a Proton fork, which is easy to do, I was able to play through the game without any further issues.
Proton-5.4-GE-3 GloriousEggroll
I used the currently latest stable release (Version 5.4-GE-3) of Proton-GE
On loading the game initially, the screen goes white, then fades to black. I'm not sure, if a cutscene or something like that is supposed to be playing but on clicking the screen, a "continue" button appears, allowing to proceed to the main menu.
The game started windowed but unticking and ticking the "full screen" option fixed that for me.
Doesn't crash. It just never seems to load any application window.
Proton-5.9-GE-8-ST GloriousEggroll
Proton-5.9-GE-8-ST
Framerate was lower than expected and stuttering mouse in menus probably due to Denuvo.
Launch Parameter PROTON_USE_SECCOMP=1 was needed
Playable at good framerates, except for some annoying periodic stutter
There was some periodic stutter which subseded after about 15min into the game.
- I used Gamemode to get better performance.
- Seccomp doesn't seem to be needed anymore.
- The stutter is worst on fast routes. There may be a need to find a workaround for this, for the game to be fully enjoyable. Other than that, I had quite good performance.
I noticed no issues whatsoever Performance is a-ok and gameplay works absolutely fine for me.
The savegame is saved in the proton prefix, so be careful when reinstalling from scratch by deleting the folder.
