Press Play and nothing happens, other than 2 second profile status change
It works like native. Take notice that the game chooses one audio output device, and ignore the others, so you may need to disable the ones you are not using to get sound.
Boots to exclusive black screen, and it overlaps all the other windows
It launches, but once you start a new game, it crashes and shows: FATAL ERROR in Vertex Shader compilation ShaderName: sh_hue
memory:67:22: error: syntax error, unexpected NEW_IDENTIFIER
at gml_Object_o_shader_start_hue_Draw_0
The game launches, and looks stable, but there are graphical glitches throughout: missing fonts in the menus (probably missing corefonts, or something along those lines), and there are sections where the game becomes very dark, missing textures here and there (showing a red+white pattern placeholder). Probably a fixable dependency issue
Fullscreen does not work properly, and goes borderless with no scaling on any resolution
The launcher appears but when you press play nothing happens. Take into account this port is one of the most broken ports in Steam by far. It hardly works on Windows without fan patches, and even then some people report huge slowdowns. Sadly a mess
Like native, although the game hangs on close, and you have to close it manually
Perfect out of the box. I did not have to use any tweaks, and it works like native. It should be whitelisted
It works, but the game language defaults to other than English/your system setting (this has already been reported in the valve tracker, and it has to do with the prefix not having a language set, so some games default to their first in the list, or crash), and the game does not close on exit. Other than this, it works pretty well
It works using the -onethread launch option, as the bronze report suggests. Sound works but it stutters/overblowns in some sections (xact?)
-onethread and installing xact makes it launch perfectly, but you find many instances were the game crashes or goes into a 1fps stutter until you close it. ie: using the button on the big eye room, jumping over the retractable bed. I guess it has to do with using just one thread, so my new rating is a solid Bronze, as it is still pretty much broken
After playing using 3.7-7 Beta for nearly 3 hours, it looks like the crashes are gone, although performance drops are still here and there with some heavy effects like the mirror reflection and the big eye screen. -onethread and xact
It works pretty well, although performance seems a little lacking for a title like this
It works out of the box, but it is one of those games affected by the "transparent characters" bug. Some people has fixed it on other titles by toying around with the different direct3d options in the prefix
The game works, and the Steam Controller support is particularly superb. There is a noticeable performance hit of about 20-30%, and the sound mix is very much broken. Probably fixable
It works, but there is no audio, and the performance is atrocious (easily a 60% hit)
It works, but the performance is questionable, the mouse seems erratic in some environments (although it may have to do with the game's own visual effects) and the game crashes on exit, leaving a full-screen black window
Solid 60fps on medium settings in my toaster. This game is a miracle
Solid 60fps. It works a lot better than on Windows, where I can't hardly get 40fps
