minimizing the game causes the game to become entirely black, requiring it to be restarted
1.5 update prevents game from opening
Simply get an error dialog from their launcher client saying something went wrong with no further specfics
Getting the latest proton from GE did not allow me to play with 1.5 update
Downloaded Proton-7.2-GE-2, gave it various launch options, no launch options, nothing would get the game to launch past a generic error dialog from the launcher that said something went wrong. (including with --launcher-skip -skipStartScreen)

Someone else had pointed this out- in order to get this game to finally open and function (fantastically I might add) I needed to PLAY A YOUTUBE VIDEO WITH AUDIO WHILE LAUNCHING THE GAME. YES THIS IS THE FIX, its HILARIOUS but it works! (just dont disable their game launcher in the launch settings on steam)
performance is perfect, gameplay not affected in anyway, really fun game
Sometimes my mouse would disapear, Alt + tab to get out of the game window and then opening it back up brings the mouse back but you can use WASD and Space otherwise
I saw other people mentioning trying the demo but im here to tell you I only played the full game and it works great
Performs around 80 to 90 FPS, can take drops in very involved bases down to 60 FPS but totally playable
To get multiplayer to work I had to run proton 4.11, join a friends lobby, afterwards I was able to change it to any version of proton I wanted and it continued to work but had to change it to 4.11 that first time to be functional
Game worked perfectly fine until todays update "Fate of the Damned",
when you get on the menu and click start game the small window which normally asks you to log into your Microsoft account each time appears all black and then moments later the entire game vanished when vanished it is running in the background with no window to interact with, requiring you to use system monitor to find and manually kill it.
Runs at 130 fps but dips to 70 on occassion
Updated proton to 5.13-1 and the issue I am now able to play
input issue makes this unplayable
for some reason even a USB SNES controller will think that I am pressing up and left on a joystick and I can not move forward or crouch- I tried an XBOX ONE, PS4 and the former mentioned SNES controller and all had the same problem. I tried launching the game through steam big picture but same issues continued. I could fix it temporarily only if I am in an offline game and toggle disable the analog stick but if I start a new session I have to repeat and because you cant get to settings in online games its unplayable.
I know it is an intensive game, but get around 50 to 60 fps
not being able to play the VHS tapes which serves as the sort of "reward" to completing a chapter would be frustrating to most people
VHS tapes are not able to be played, instead you will see a colored bar screen, sadly this means you will have to look up the tapes you have collected online and try not to spoil yourself in the process
Everything in terms of the actual game itself works fine out of the box with no issues
