Amazing game and great performance from start to finish. I was able to enjoy every moment of this game in all its glory. Ran perfect.
Always enjoyed this game, once I started playing on PopOS, it was a flawless transition. Great game and runs perfect on PopOS.
I have observed tearing, specifically around football stadiums.
No tinkering needed.
I initially launched it via experimental, however it would crash at random times. 6-3.8 fixed this immediately, no crashes since switching from experimental to 6-3.8
Great performance, great game.
After a few shader updates, it appears very stable. When I first started playing, it would crash in large areas, such as Nellis AFB. However, havent had one recently (20+ hours).
Great game and performs perfectly out of the box. Zero tinkering and I was able to play on the highest graphical settings without issue.
It appears Madden 23 is the last Madden that doesn't have Anti-cheat. Might be the newest Madden version you can play on Linux currently.

At first all Steam cloud saves would not sync. Be patient....keep clicking that dang button until it knows who is boss. After a while, all my saves on Windows were uploaded and I was able to load successfully in linux (Pop OS)
It took me a little while to figure this out. My suggestion is to keep in mind if you really want to play this game, understand protontricks and how Steam works on linux. Once you got those down, you will be fine. Use youtube to understand protontricks, great resources.
Outstanding performance on Linux. All graphics settings are maxed and never have had a stutter or massive drop in FPS.
On rare occasions, when I am launching the game while working on another screen not hosting the game, as I come back to the game screen the mouse mouses but the L/R mouse clicks are not functional. This requires a restart of the game. Its rare, but its happened multiple times.

I am running ultra+ RT, if I am in Novigrad for long enough (30-60 IRL minutes) it starts to get choppy. A quick reload of a save brings it back to perfect.
