Game runs fine after replacing the Launcher.exe like suggested in the other comments. Other than that I can get 60~100 FPS on 1440p, no crashes so far. Additionally there are some lag issue in the co-op, fixed via https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Borderlands:_Game_of_the_Year_Enhanced#Issues_fixed
Runs ok, as ok as such old game can run anyway
Slow loading
Works perfectly
For some reason the native Linux version doesn't detect my Xbox One S Gamepad + xow
Playing via Proton works flawlessly though with easily 144 Hz and no Frametime stutter even on 1440p
Works great out of the box, 1440p 144 Hz without issues besides the alt-tab thing
Around ~30 FPS more with Proton than on the native build
Works very well out of the box
Perfectly fine working in 144 Hz no matter if DirectX or Vulkan with my XBox One Controller
Works great with Proton with no tweaks
Performance slightly degrades with the amount of vehicles on the screen but that's apparently normal.
Works pretty good, but keep backups of your save games
After a crash my save game was lost
Game sometimes crash with some heavy wands, but that happens on windows too.
Occasional freezes with increasing regularity as the game progresses.
Occasionally stuttering while moving the camera after some time, fixed by a game restart
Intro-cutscene doesn't play, fixed by using the latest Glorious Eggroll Proton release
The native build for some reason won't play audio over DisplayPort and only ever via Line Out.
Loading screen misses two splash screens
Proton builds works absolutely fine besides loading screen splash screens.
Native version runs better for me
Heavy Stuttering
While the Proton version worked better in the first Steam Release for me, nowadays I would only recommend the native version on Linux.
