strange striping of the hiding barriers
window infrequently loses control of cursor.
Needs windows version to run well. Network is bugged and only works in Borderless Windowed.
Save Games are not compatible between windows and linux versions...
Native version has a strange slowdown.
Game needs to be started in borderless windowed for network to connect, regardless of platform version.
To install the windows version in the steam for linux client, you will need to open the console and run the following 2 commands:
@sSteamCmdForcePlatformType windows
app_start_validation 310790
Unsure if platform needs to be forced back to linux, (especially since most native linux ports are real bad,) but if you want to be thorough, after the game redownloads, run:
@sSteamCmdForcePlatformType linux
do not revalidate the game without forcing the SteamCMD platform to windows (as you did prior) or you may lose your save. - not sure how the steam cloud save data works.
gamescope -W 1920 -H 1080 -r 100 %command%
installed LAVFilters to make movies work.
Steam input must be ENABLED, not "Default"
Crashes from ALT+TAB if not using gamescope. (Wayland) When using gamescope, Meta/Super+F to fullscreen.
How is this still "Silver"? Make sure you install lavfilters via protontricks.
tries to use too much VRAM constantly
Consistent DE crash during the gameplay segment of the benchmark regardless of settings
benchmark doesn't launch with gamescope
not worth trying at the moment

Turn off reflections on RX6000 and below series cards.
Keyboard input = Crash instantly
switched through every proton version i could find
Any keyboard input trips the keyboard module as "null input" -- this is unplayable. It works with controller, but a graze of your keyboard will turn off the game instantly. No proton versions fix this.
You cannot upload high scores unless you beat the one that is from other linux users, since the game uses windows SID system to verify your system is unique...
Only works on 8.0-4. Regression in 9.0+ makes the backend crash.
