I had a couple (rare) crashes and some minor bugs, but otherwise, works flawlessly!
The screen resolution and graphics settings are sometimes not preserved---every once in a while the game starts in a window instead of full screen. I had a few crashes at random points, but for the most part, the game is really stable. There is also some minor lag and stuttering when entering new areas as things load.
This game works great! Aside from the very minor flickering, no issues whatsoever.
There are some very brief flashes of white when rotating quickly
Had to use the following launch string to get it running: env PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -nointro. The game ran with WINED3D by itself, but textures were stuck at the lowest resolution, so I had ti disable esync. Now works perfectly.
As of Proton 4.2-5, it runs perfectly out-of-the-box. Performance is on par with Windows.
A black window appears for about a second, then the game crashes. I tried every combination of the three Proton options, with no luck. The log shows an unhandled exception with a stack trace ending in "amd_ags_x64".
You must use the launch option "-useembedded", otherwise you can't start a new game. Works flawlessly.
Occasional dips in framerate, presumably as new textures/shaders load (especially during a level intro), but otherwise very smooth.
Note: It won't work if installed to an NTFS drive! I had to reinstall it on an ext4 filesystem for it to work.
Works perfectly out of the box! I didn't quite max out my FPS but I don't know if that has anything to do with Linux.
Works great without any tweaks. Framerate is noticeably lower than on Windows, but I haven't noticed any other issues.
Had to disable d3d11 to get it to run at all (otherwise just crashes on startup). The game runs but is very buggy---you sometimes don't die when falling, newly connected players are sometimes invisible, etc. Audio also had a bit of a crackle for me. Not sure if any of these issues are related to Steam Play since I didn't test on Windows.
